Wheter it's the placebo affect or not, doesn't really matter, I'm sold on Free Range Chicken. It taste sooo much better, more juicy and full of flavor. I've heard several people from my parents generation say this how chicken used to taste. So maybe its all in my head and I just think it should taste better, but I agree with the guy in the Matrix eating the virtual steak, ignorance is bliss, at least in this case.

I raised chickens, for a few years, for eggs and meat. Yes, there is a definite better taste than the typical store bought chicken. My chickens were less fatty yet still very moist and there was not any of that dark conglomeration of stuff close to the bone that is very common in store chickens.

Hey ,Mike, you and I have something in common there! Yes, r2, it does make a difference! I knew a lady that raised all most all of her food! Everthing tasted different at her house. And so much BETTER!! She sold goat milk and cheeses. She said her goats were raised happy so her stuff tasted better! She was right!!!! No herbicides or pesticides at her house either. Learned alot from her!
