Roquefort Grapes

BIG HIT! If you like blue cheese (as in salad dressing) you will like this. I have always liked cheese and grapes together. This is a wonderful combination of flavors. Messy to make but divine to eat. My sister could not stay away from them.

Cranberry-Black Cherry Gelatin Salad

I made it for Thanksgiving and it was voted the best cranbery jello salad I have ever made (I try a new one every year). Kids don't seem to like the nuts but all adults loved it!

Herbed Sweet 'n' Sour Chicken

Big hit with my family! Not your ususal sweet-n-sour and you can control the heat with the cayenne pepper (my husband likes it hot). I tried a lower fat version the second time substituting chicken broth for the olive oil and it worked out great!

Blueberry Buckle

YUMMY! My kids are begging to have it again. I used frozen blueberries and cooked it for 35 minutes (after reading other reviews). Center wasn't as done as the edges but wasn't doughy either and was my daughter's "favorite" part.

Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins

I made these as a sugar free recipe substituting about one-half cup agave for the brown sugar. Turned out great - not too sweet but sweet enough. I will be making them often. Lovely texture.

Hearty Breakfast Cookies

I love having a "healthy" cookie recipe that the kids will eat. Some of my kids don't like raisins so I only put them in half of the dough. They love taking them for a snack before basketball practice.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Wow! These were fabulous! I wasn't quite sure what to expect and ended up loving them. I used red peppers (leave the stem on to help keep their shape) and had to do half of them without the feta because of my husband's dietary restrictions and he thought they were good as well. But the feta ... oh-h-h-h... it's wonderful.
