Spicy Mediterranean Chicken with Sausage-Stuffed Cherry Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
Whee doggies! The chef wasn't kidding when he said this was an intense food experience and wasn't for bland palates. I LOVED it! My eyeballs are still sweating, but as my husband, Mr. Meat and Potatoes, put it, "There is a whole lot going on here and I'm getting tingly in the back of my head." We are trying to eat healthier, so did not have a huge hunk of Italian bread to sop up all the wonderful broth, but we made do with straight up slurping it out of the bowl.

Puttanesca I

I love puttanesca and this was terrific. Like another reviewer, I also add an extra dash of crushed red pepper because I like it hot.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
I've doubled, tripled and quadrupled this recipe many times for our club functions that feed from 20 to 50 people and there are never, ever any leftovers. I've never changed anything about the recipe -- it is perfect just as written.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Very good. I didn't have enough feta cheese so I used half feta, half cream cheese. Still yummy. Thanks for the recipe!

Snapper Veracruz

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
I was extremely hesitant about putting in the cinnamon, but I did it anyway. BAD IDEA! I'll make it again without the cinnamon and re-review. Please, please, please don't ruin your fish with this recipe. No cinnamon! Look at other Veracruz recipes first. This one is a good basic recipe minus the cinnamon. No cinnamon! Okay, I think I've gotten my point across. If you use the cinnamon you can't say you weren't warned!

I have not even read the reviews where people make "improvements" to the recipe. This recipe is absolutely perfect as written. Best blueberry muffins EVER!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a fabulous recipe. I've received one proposal of marriage from a gentleman after he took one taste of these cookies. I've never altered the recipe, but some of the suggestions do sound good.

Succulent Grilled Peaches with Honey Chevre

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
Words can not desribe how incredible this tastes. Upon first bite I wept that I've been on this planet lo these many years and hadn't had this dish. I also wept with relief that I was able to taste it before the end of my days. Oh, and you can knock off the skim milk and the mint leaves. Peaches. Goat Cheese. Honey. I swear I hear angels right now . . .

Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
I just prepared this and it was so delicious my husband declared it definitely a "keeper." Then I went back and re-read the recipe before I filed it. I made it with 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of 3 ounces! No wonder it was so rich and creamy. My bad sure turned out good!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I was so looking forward to making these muffins. I followed the recipe exactly and they were absolutely beautiful coming out of the oven. But they tasted bland, bland, bland. I was so disappointed. Finally, desperation took over and I poked holes in the top and poured Kahlua inside, then, I can't believe it either, I iced them with chocolate frosting. Yes, a muffin with frosting. But, they finally had flavor!

I have made this soup, oh about ten times now, and my mouth waters just thinking about making it. I make it exactly by the recipe because I don't want to screw up perfection. Thank you, Hamm, thank you.
