About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom, married with two children. I love to cook and am just starting to get more into baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am Hungarian on my mother's side, and enjoy making (and eating!) traditional Hungarian fare such as Goulash, Chicken Paprikas, Geliska, and Stuffed Cabbage.

Hot Fudge Cake
Made as is; neither my husband nor I could eat it! We are huge chocolate lovers and this had no chocolate flavor whatsoever. 6 TBSP. of cocoa is just not enough to provide good chocolate flavor. But, for someone who is not a chocoholic and who just wants a sweet gooey cake to go with ice cream, this might work!

Easy Garlic Chicken
These were wonderful! I doubled the minced garlic and used half olive oil and half butter. Also used italian breadcrumbs and sprinkled with parmesan cheese prior to baking. The baking time is quite long though; I would check at 30 minutes (or maybe 35 if your breasts are quite thick). Next time I make them I will use some parm in the breading as well as sprinkling on top. So easy and so good; my husband loved it as well! Thanks for the recipe K Grecco!

Slow Cooker Carnitas
This is great! Could not stop eating it! I tripled all spices except the cinnamon, and added about 1.5 tsp chili powder and 1.5 tsp minced dried onion. I had 6 pounds of pork shoulder and cut it into thirds. Used 3 cups chicken broth. Great unique flavor; next time I make it I am going to try baking it in the oven for 20 minutes as other reviewers suggested.
