Corn Dogs

my first time makijg corn dogs and this recipe turned out great. I dried the hot dogs and refrigerated the batter - a combo that helped the batter stick.

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

Good flavor. I increased the balls to 4oz and still only got about 8" tortillas, but I may not have rolled them thin enough. 2oz of dough rolled out to about 4", perfect for taco shells.

Elephant Ears

Not sure if it's because I had to refrigerate the dough for a bit, but it never bubbled in the oven and reminded us more of flattened cinnamon rolls than elephant ears.

Very thick and difficult to cook through properly. make sure the batter in the skillet is only a thin layer.

Glazed Cinnamon Biscuits

Very fluffy biscuits, good flavor and great texture. Definitely will make again. I did take other's recommendations and added 2tbsp sugar and some almond extract to the batter. Excellent.

Vanilla-Maple Apple Pie Filling

I liked this filling. It never did become clear and I maybe put 2tsp of cinnomen in. I really like teh maple flavoring and how thick the filling is.

Green Tomato Pie I

Pretty good pie, though the aftertaste is a bit off. Definitely would need more flour, as mine came out very runny. I ran out of white sugar and had to use brown and that worked out pretty well.

Chocolate Chip Dream Bars

Very good. Definitely agree that a small er pan is necessary. I tried it with butterscotch chips and it was delicious.

It's a good dish, but it wasn't the knd of corn pudding I was looking for - guess I needed to use jiffy mix. Very sweet (in a good way) but slightly wet and all the butter rose to the top, creating a greasy sheen.

Fluffy Pancakes

The recipe only made 6 pancakes when I made it. I left out the butter and they were very good - will have to try it with the butter next time. The batter is so thick it doesn't spread in the pan, which is great.

Yogurt Yeast Rolls

These rolls have great texture and taste. They may need a little more flavoring for those who don't like a plain tasting roll. they bake up great as round rolls as well, if you don't want to mess with shaping them.

Yogurt Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Very soft and moistalmost fluffy. Worked well as muffins and as bread. I added mulberries to half of the batter and both plain and berried bread and muffins had very good flavor.

Oatmeal Soda Bread

It's like a giant bisquit. Very good. I used wheat flour for about 1/3 of what the recipe called for and white for the rest. I don't suggest letting the mound of bread dough set too high, even if it brings your diameter over 8in, or the bread is a bit dense and soft in the middle.
