Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Very good spin on broccoli! I was finishing a steak in the oven at 500 degrees, and put the broccoli in too, unsure of how it would work at such a high temp. It was great and only took about 6 minutes!

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
I used OLIVE OIL instead of veg oil. Also used 3/4 TACO SEASONING PKT instead of garlic salt and cumin. Very good and very easy! Thanks for the recipie and the tips!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
This was the first time I have ever made Sweet Potato Pie. I wanted to try and impress my husband! I washed my (1) 1 lb sweet potato, poked holes in it, and wrapped in foil. I placed it in a 400 degree oven for 60 mins. Then I rinsed in cold water as I pulled the skin off. I used a frozen pie crust(let it thaw on the counter as I mixed up the ingredients-(I was very concerned about how runny it was!) and poured it into my pie crust. It filled my pie shell perfectly! It took a little longer to cook and for the middle to set up. I was afraid my crust would burn...but it didn't. It turned out great! It's less than 24hrs later and the entire pie is gone!!! My husband has already gave me a request for a second pie. This will be made often around my home!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
Used this recipe and reviews to make my first pot of potato soup, and it turned out great! The second time I made a larger pot and used some water that I had previous saved from boiling potatoes, extra potatoes, and cooked for a few hours. I turned out great!

Fast Chicken Soup Base

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
...and I used to throw all the left over peices of chicken and skin away-never again!!! This is fabulous! My daughter was home sick today and I figured today would be the perfect day to try making homemade chicken soup! I used this broth (with a little extra water and extra carrots minced) and then added a bag of egg noodles. VERY GOOD SOUP! So full of chicken flavor and not as salty as canned soup! Looked, smelled and tasted terrific!!!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
This is really good! I like to scoop leftovers with an ice cream scoop and freeze in a muffin tin until frozen. I then pop them out and put in Ziploc Freezer bag...perfect single servings as needed!

Raspberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
I used the reviews from this recipe to make my stuffed french toast for the first time. I would definitely use the 8oz cream cheese to 9oz raspberry mix. I also had problems finding "seedless raspberry". So I just used Red Raspberry Preserves (that had the seeds). It was still really good and I was not bothered by the seeds at all! Also a huge TIP: BUTTERFLY EACH SLICE OF BREAD THAT MAKES IT VERY EASY TO FILL, AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LINING UP THE BREAD...IT WORKED GREAT!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
This was not only my first attempt on cinnamon rolls...but my first from scratch bread product period! I did not use a bread machine. I followed others suggestions of making the dough without the machine. I used my 9X13 Pampered Chef stone and lined it with parchment paper. They turned out wonderful! Very good reheated the next day to...1 min in the microwave and presto! Warm and gooey all over again!!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I made this for a Thanksgiving appetizer. I prepared it the night before (minus the parm & bread crumb topping). I used 1 C. Miracle Whip=next time I will use only 1/2 of that or maybe 1/2 MWhip and 1/2 sour cream? The next morning I mixed abt 1 C. Parmesan cheese and 1/3 cup breadcrumb on top of the spread and baked at 350 for 25 minutes (like others suggested) everyone really did rave about it. It was good! I will be making this again soon!

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
I like mine to have more texture and nutrition. I use an entire bag of noodles, and a full bag of MIXED VEGTABLES. Also b/c I use more noodles, I add more cream soup (Chicken or mushroom-whatever I have on hand). Tuna Casseroles is one of my families favorite recipies!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2008
This is FABULOUS!!! Browning with the flour mix is a must! And because I don't always have time to brown in the morning, I brown it at night and place it in the fridge until morning, then I put in the Crockpot with the additional ingredients! We always make plenty of mashed potatoes to go with it!!!

Marinated Pretzels

This is a GREAT recipe! I don't marinate them as long as suggested, and I omit the dill spice (but ADD RED PEPPER!) Gives a great zip!
