Basil Goat Cheese Pizza

Delicious and so easy, only change I made was to use flatbread since I only made a personal pizza for myself. Fresh herbs are absolutely key here. Next time I think I'll add some garlic powder for even more flavor. thanks for sharing!

Garden Stuffed Baked Potatoes

These are really good potatoes, only recommendation I'd make is add the ranch dressing to taste, the amount listed was good for me but others might want a bit more or a bit less, depending on their taste for ranch. I didn't really taste the parsley in this so I'll leave that out next time, I think sprinkling these with cheddar at the end would really take them over the top. Overall a really good baked potato, thanks for sharing :)

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Really great comfort food! Only change I made was to cut the amount of butter in half since several other reviewers mentioned it was greasy with the full amount called for. I love potatoes, I love ranch, and I love cheese...so of course I knew I would love this dish. Thanks for sharing :)

Chinese-Style Broccoli Salad

I'd make it again but with some modifications. IMO this would be five stars with rice vinegar instead of distilled white, some grated ginger, and 1/2 tbsp brown sugar instead of white sugar. I added some sriracha sauce at the end for heat, but that can make it pretty spicy for some so its not something I'd recommend for everyone. Overall its pretty good and very easy to make, with the modifications stated above I think it would be just awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Absolutely delicious, a healthy and simple way to get that pizza fix. The only change I made was to cook it at 350 rather than 400 because I was afraid it would burn. Be sure to cut the slices thick! Thanks for sharing :)

Cheese Ravioli with Fresh Tomato and Artichoke Sauce

this is a wonderful, easy dish that comes together quickly. The only change i made was to use tortellini instead of ravioli. Make this when you have beautiful, flavorful tomatoes and I'd recommend adding just a pinch of crushed red pepper if you like your food spicy; it gives the sauce a nice kick at the end without taking away from the other flavors. Tex-Mex Quinoa Salad

5 stars for how healthy this is and the great flavor combination, I'm giving it 4 stars because the canned tomatoes and chilies and the amount of lime juice tends to make this a bit liquidy. I think fresh tomatoes and jalapenos would work best, and next time I'll just sprinkle the lime juice to taste. overall a really nice dish that I'll make with a few changes that suit my tastes. Thanks for sharing!

Nice flavors in this one, only change i made was to omit the sazon seasning (didn't have any) and just double up on the Cajun. I liked the tang from the lemon, overall a great side dish that could also be served with rice for a healthy but filling lunch the next day. Thanks for sharing!

Jam-filled Muffins

These are really nice muffins, I just felt when i tasted the batter that it was missing something, so I added 1/2 tsp. of almond extract. I used strawberry jam for the filling and baked for 20 minutes, the end result was just delicious! The consistency of the muffin was just right for my tastes, but I do recommend adding either almond extract or vanilla for that 'something extra'. Thanks for sharing :)

Mango-Peach Smoothie

Delicious! I started making this and then realized I didn't have peaches, but I did have apricots that needed to be used up anyway so I substituted those instead. I have no doubt htis would be just as tasty with the peaches. The mango flavor came through just fine, and it just an all around great summer smoothie. Thanks for sharing!

Italian Tortellini Soup

A nice, simple soup. The only changes I made were to leave out the celery (didn't have it) and saute the onion, carrot, tomato, and garlic in some olive oil before adding the broth. I had gorgeous tomatoes and that really helped with the flavor, and a sprinkling of Parmesan was just the right finishing touch. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful Salad

This really is very pretty to look at, and delicious as well. I followed the recipe exactly, and the combination of flavors is wonderful. Since its summer I think I may try adding fresh apricot or nectarine next time, this is definitely one of those salads you can play around with or enjoy exactly as written. Thanks for sharing!

Spicy Mango Sauce

This was really tasty and perfect for me since I have a whole box of mangoes to use up! I followed the recipe exactly and enjoyed it as a dip with some tortilla chips, but I do think this would go really well with chicken. I just love that sweet/spicy combo, and the longer it sat the better it tasted, IMO. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Chef John!

Lemon Artichoke Romaine Salad

Nice summer salad, I left out the olives (don't like them) and I left out the water because I knew it tasted the dressing before adding it and liked it just fine, I knew it wouldn't enjoy it with the water. The artichokes went really well with the dressing; just an all around good salad. Thanks for sharing!

Very good, and good for you! I did find the buttermilk flavor coming through a tad strong, so I think I'll cut back on that next time and supplement with regular milk or, as other reviewers tried, with orange juice. The nectarine flavor is great and its just so simple to make! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Low-Cal Zucchini Pancakes with Low-Fat Basil Dressing

I'm rating the zucchini pancake only: Great flavors and pretty healthy, my only problem was in trying to get them to stay in patty form; they just kept coming apart on me. I'm thinking I just need to do something to the mixture to get it to hold, so I'll tinker around with it a bit as my zucchini crop comes in and keep trying. I had planned on making the dressing but realized I had no mayonnaise so I will make that next time also. Overall a really good recipe with nice flavor, hopefully next time I make these I can get mine to look as good as the ones in the picture! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Greek Lentil Soup (Fakes)

This is really great soup, and quite healthy. The only change I made to the recipe was to use half water/half veggie broth. As others have already mentioned, the vinegar is essential to this soup. Highly recommended, thanks for sharing this recipe!

Blueberry Buckle

Fantastic flavor, and that topping is so yummy! The only thing I can think to do is add a little vanilla (I add vanilla to everything I bake), but even without that it is still five stars. I substituted butter for the shortening (I never use shortening so its never in my pantry) but other than that I followed the recipe exactly and was blown away. Thanks for sharing!
