Potato Latkes I
Oooh! These were absolutely delicious. I've made latkes before, but these were heavenly. You must eat them while hot to get the full tasty experience. LOVE them with sour cream. 5 stars.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs
These were okay. It's a lot of work for deviled eggs; I much rather prefer just eating the bacon on the side. While you can taste it, the work just doesn't seem worth it. Like others here, I added in a ton of sharp cheddar but couldn't taste it. What a waste of cheese and calories. Better to have regular deviled eggs, leave the cheese out of it, and have some bacon on the side.

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies
It looks like someone may have copied this recipe and re-listed it as the "Absolutely Best Brownies," which also has a rating of nearly 5 stars. Since I saw & tried this recipe first, I'm giving it the 5 stars. These brownies are a tad sweet for me, so I like to cut the sugar by 1/4 cup, but my boyfriend raved about them. I found through experimentation that adding ground golden flaxseed meal during the dry phase or after the batter is mixed (and before the walnuts are added) gives the brownies a slightly different texture and flavor that really compliments them, especially with the walnuts since the meal is itself subtly nutty. I've made this recipe several times now and can say it's results are addictive. Love 'em. I tend to kick up the cocoa content a little more for its antioxidants, but I'm sure that messes with the ratios. Anyway, as my bf says, "these are the best brownies I have ever eaten."
