Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Great recipe. Instead of 3 bags of broccoli I used 1 bag (1lb 12 oz bag). I cut the mayo in half and only used 1/2 cup. For extra flavor I added a 1 tsp of paprika.

Glazed Corned Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
First time ever making corned beef. I went the slow cooker route and it came out perfect. The sweet sauce makes for a perfect combo with the salty beef. yum!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
These were terrific. I used unsalted butter. I always do when I bake. As far as I'm concerned, you won't find a better cut out cookie. The dough was easy to use and they tasted great. With other recipes I wasn't able to achieve both. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I used the slow cooker and it came out perfect. I omitted the corn because my husband doesn't like it. I used 2 cans of shredded canned chicken. Baked corn tortillas until crisp and crumbled them into each bowl before serving. Added Mozzarella cheese to top it off.

Turkey Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
I was very skeptical about this recipe ( no sure why) We all thought this recipe was great. I have some very picky eaters in my house. I am making this again tonight. I did add some basil and other mild spices.

Grilled Thighs and Drumsticks

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I enjoyed the flavor but my husband wasn't all that impressed. Very simple recipe. Its to cold outside to use the BBQ so I baked it at 400 on a broiling pan so the greese could run through.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
This is my new Cornbread recipe. I love sweet. If you are more of salty person then you may want to cut back on the sugar. I also took some advice and only put in 2 tsp of Baking powder. Thanks for sharing!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Yummy! This was my first time making fudge and it turned out awesome! The flavor is fantastic. I won't make fudge any other way. For a seasonal flare I topped it off with crushed candy canes. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Busia's Cutout Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Plus side is its very easy to work with. A great cookie to use with your ultra sweet frosting. Cons: the cookie by itself is nothing to write home about. I am still on the search for a cookie that has it all.

Thick Cut-Outs

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
To many eggs for a very average recipe. I found the dough difficult to work with. I'm still on my quest for an easy to use and flavorable sugar cookie.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made. Not to flat and not to round. I don't understand the negative reviews. If you like chocolate chip cookies you will love these. The vanilla pudding is def. the secret ingredient that makes these cookies stand out above the rest. ~yummy!~

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
These were great. I used 1 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice and 1 1/2 tsp. cinn. instead of the other spices. This was recommended by another poster. I baked them in an electric stove for about 18 minutes. The results were a cake like cookie. You can't go wrong with these and they look exactly like the pictures on this site. I'm off to buy more pumpkin.

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
Good recipe. I decreased the p. sugar by a half cup and increased the cocoa by 1/3 of a cup. I was pleased with the result. I also placed the wet incredients in the bowl and then added the dry ingredients. It mixed well and the result was a nice spreadable frosting.

Skillet Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
Great recipe. Not a lot of ingredients and quick to make. I didn't add the chilis because I have 3 small girls under 6. However, I could see how they would improve the taste and spice things up. I also used corn tortillas which IMO makes them more authentic. yum!
