The Ultimate Burger Topping

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2012
This is so good on burgers, but it would also be great on a steak, chicken, pork chops, or as a dip! I did add 1 extra slice of bacon, and that was the only change I made! My hat is off to you on this one Christina, great recipe!

Bacon Ranch Chicken Skewers

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
Simple and delicious, used a good buttermilk ranch dressing, and thai chili paste, the chicken was so tender, and don't forget to spread the meat out so that the bacon gets evenly done! Great stuff!!!!

Horseradish Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
Made this last night and I thought it was great, I took another reviewers advice and placed chops on top of onion slices, I also didn't have bread crumbs so I used finely crushed Ritz crackers, and broiled the last 5 minutes turned out perfect!

Candied Kielbasa

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
I thought these sounded good, but I had no idea they would turn out so amazing! I didn't have ketchup so I used tomato soup, I also baked at 350 for about an hour(per another reviewers suggestion) These will be a new staple for football Sunday's and family events! Thanks for a great recipe!

I just grilled these for breakfast and they are great! I used charcoal and hickory chunks and just grilled them directly on the grill, thanks for a great new way to do pork chops!

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: May 27, 2011
These were fantastic! My husband says we will never buy store bought buns again. I did change one thing that did speed up the prep time some. I did not boil the milk. Instead I added it after the rest of the liquid mix has come to a boil. This brought it to a workable temp right away. Also, the first raise only took about 50 minutes in a warm oven but I had to let the formed buns raise 30 minutes. The texture is slightly heavier than store bought but that makes them hold up much better to grilling or toasting. Perfect for a juicy sandwich because the bun does not get soggy. Great recipe LemonLush. This is a keeper.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
Every year for Christmas Eve Breakfast we have Sausage Cheese Bread. I normally make some for gifts and end up just getting a 5 pack of frozen bread dough. This year I just made one for us so I decided to try making the dough myself. I cut the recipe in half, let the dough double and then punched in down and rolled it out in a rectangle. I sprinkled it with 1 lb. of cooked ground sausage (still warm) and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. I skipped the second raising. With the warm sausage all I had to do was roll, place seam side down on a greased cookie sheet and start the oven. Once pre-heated just pop it in and bake as specified. A couple fried eggs on top made it even better. I won't buy bread dough ever again....even if I bake this for gifts next year. Thanks Peg!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
All in all, I thought this was a good recipe for making easy indoor pulled pork sandwiches, if you expect it to taste like smoked pork it doesn't, but still very good and easy!

The Heartattack Burger

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This was supposed to have mushrooms and bacon in the ingredients, saute fresh sliced mushrooms with the onions, and top each burger with 3 or 4 strips of bacon to complete!

Berry Sour Cream Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
This is simply amazing! I used fozen berries because that is what I had on hand. I just defrosted them slightly in the microwave first. The cake was so tender and fluffy. Even my husband that hates cake with any type of berry loved it. I halved the recipe since there was just two of us but he ate half of the cake himsel! I think I should have made the full recipe. This is a wonderful base. You could add so many differnt things from nuts to candy bars or even make the cake chocolate. Let your imagination run wild with this one. You won't be disappointed.

Zucchini in Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
First of all I am from the south, so the only way I have ever liked zucchini is battered and deep fried! That said my wife just made this and the only change she made was to add a couple cloves of garlic, and all I can say is this is the best zucchini dish I have ever tasted! This will be made very often in our home, thanks for a great new recipe!

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
This is a great dip, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the lack of a key ingredient Ole Bay, and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of it according to your taste and then it is perfect! other than that great recipe! thank you!

Corned Beef on Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
this is always a great comfort meal, from breakfast to dinner! the only thing I do different is to lightly brown the corned beef in a little oil, then remove it from the skillet and then follow the the recipe, browning the beef brings the flavor out a little better!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This is a great recipe! The only changes I made was to add a little over a cup of stock, and did not dredge the chicken in flour, instead I just added a little corn starch slurry after I removed the chicken, and after the sauce had thickened I stirred in 1 tablespoon of sour cream poured over the chicken and enjoyed! Thanks for a great recipe!

Grill Master Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
I tried these wings for the Super Bowl, and they were fantastic! I doubled the marinade I made 6 pounds of wings, and marinated for 24 hours, I grilled them over Kingsford hickory charcoal, for about 20 to 25 mins to get a nice crisp and a little char on them, then popped them in a 325 degree oven for about 20 mins since I used some large wings, then served half with my own garlic buffalo sauce, and half plain and they both were wonderful, great marinade, thanks for the recipe!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This a great recipe, the only reason I did not give this 5 stars is the cooking time, 3 to 4 minutes a side is sufficient for searing and 25 minutes is enough for simmering unless you like dry chops, and I used 3\4 inch thick chops, but the flavor is awesome! Thanks for the great recipe!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
This is a great recipe, the only changes I made was 1/2 the ketchup and 1/2 the brown sugar, doubled the hot sauce, added 3 cloves of garlic, and some green bell pepper. This is wonderful for dinner over pasta with a salad, or just sit it out on game day! Thanks for a great new way to make kielbasa!

Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
This is a great dip, the only changes I made was to add 1 cup of hot sauce instead of 1/3 cup,and a extra chicken breast, it is like having buffalo wings without the mess. All the guys I work with loved it! Thanks for the great recipe. Also if you really want great flavor and heat use Louisiana hot sauce, it truely is the perfect hot sauce!
