Homemade Marshmallow Creme

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2013
I made this to add to fudge, and it worked wonderfully! The texture was wonderful and the taste was so similar to the jarred stuff. I followed another review and added less vanilla, but thought it was too strong of a powdered sugar taste without the full measure of vanilla. I also beat it for about 7 minutes before adding the powdered sugar, and it was perfect! Thank you for a great recipe! I would use it in a heartbeat again.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
This was absolutely delicious, and my husband who doesn't like Parmesan loved it. SO easy, too! I did throw out about 1/2 cup of the breading b/c it was just too much, but I'd say that reducing the mix by about 30 percent woudl be right on. It was so delicious!!

I'd make this again, maybe with added red peppers or the like. We liked it!

Nana's Southern Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 31, 2013
This was so delicious, and I've tried several recipes for coleslaw 'like kfc'. The use of lemon juice and buttermilk made for less vinegar needed and the amount of mayo was great. We didn't refrigerate it and it was so tasty, but did accumulate more liquid than other recipes after an hour. I imagine you could avoid that by refrigerating it as the recipe calls for. We loved it!

Easy Lemon Cookies

Reviewed: May 31, 2013
My friends thought these were completely homemade. I made them exactly as the recipe suggests and they were fantastic! Great consistency. The third batch (makes so many) I refrigerated the dough, and as was mentioned in another review, the powdered sugar stuck better.

Healthier Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: May 31, 2013
My kiddos loved this, but my hubby wasn't overly impressed. Still I liked it very much. The parmesan was very tasty and it really did flake perfectly.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
This was delicious, with good texture but still had the yellow cake mix flavor, making it more birthday- cake tasting instead of cinnamon and pastry tasting. I made it for breakfast, so maybe that's why it seemed a bit too sweet. It was, however, SO easy to prepare, and I liked that. I'll make it again as a dessert.

Western Skillet

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
I added a few elbow macaroni noodles just like the photo, for more kid appeal. It was delightful! I was so thankful to find a recipe that was low cost per serving (though we only had 1/2 lb. of hamburger it still was great) and very filling. Thank you for such a flexible recipe, that was easy too. Ohh, and next time I'll add the peas after everything is cooked, for more color.

Japanese Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Very tasty, and we liked the bok choy! I will say that I didn't have any condensed beef broth on hand, and have never even seen it, so I added double the bullion to the broth I made. It was a little too heavy on the salt. I don't recommend it. Despite that, it was still really tasty.

Lemon-Butter Red Potatoes

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
The lemon seemed way too strong here. I think maybe the spices are right, and the butter, but reduce the lemon by half

Rainbow Salad

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
Kind of confusing directions but so worth it! Just use a large glass pan, and you'll be set. The Jell-o sets up quickly that way, and you can save a bit of time.
