Slider-Style Mini Burgers
5 star eats here! very good....i had to make only one sub, sour cream for mayo... fiancee will NOT eat mayo, no way no how! I put 1 pickle chip on each botttom bun and brushed butter on the top before wrapping in foil and toasting. Turned out great!!!

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo
Lupe and Jason, A++++ on your gumbo!!! I darn near followed it to a tee, but had to make a few changes based on what I had and bc I wanted it to be my own. Used 1/4 cup butter and 3/4 c olive/canola oil blend and the 1 c flour. Roux seemed thin, only cause i'm used to gravy. It does take 30-35 minutes (of constant stir/mixing) to get browned enough. Roux is key. Used a whole lb of Andouille sausage, shredded the breast meat of a cooked chicken and 2, yes 2 pounds of shrimp (51-60 ct) Shrimp went in at the end of cooking.Also, used Margeret Holmes Tomatoes and Okra (2 cans). Served with rice and a glass of wine, didn't have any Zydeco music.... maybe for breakfast.? So good!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!

Drip Beef Sandwiches
I thought this was more of a crockpot recipe than a stovetop one. I had to cut the recipe in half though, 5 lbs of meat equals 5 servings? Yikes, that's a big ole sandwich.....haha! I love the coffee filter idea. I used Better than Bouillon and chopped garlic that comes in the jar instead of garlic salt. Turned out great and the juice is a perfect dip to complement. Add all to the crockpot cover and let it go, no diassapointments!!!! PS, i don't know why someone would buy the wrong cut of meat and "butcher" the recipe and then rate it 2 stars. Learn from the mistake, but don't not try it bc someone deviated from the recipe and left a poor rating. Yummy!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!
