This is pretty tasty as far as tuna casserole can be. My 20 mo. old grandson loved it. He won't usually eat peas, but he ate this up. I left out the onion and used Mrs. Dash's onion seasoning. I also used Amy's Organic Mushroom soup with is not condensed, to was not too dry at all.

Waldorf Astoria Red Cake

This cake is divine. It is not "sweet" and the frosting is the best part. I agree with everyone else that says creams cheese frosting absolutely ruins this cake. This is not an easy cake though. I make this for my son's birthday, who will be 30 this year and still to this day, sometimes it turns out wonderful and sometimes I am throwing it away and starting over. I have not ever had a problem using the tablespoon portions of cocoa and vinegar. The cake still turns out a deep rich red with just a slight hint of chocolate. It is beautiful and delicious.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake I

This is very good. It is not an overly sweet cake which I like. If you are going to sub applesauce, switch it for the butter and not the oil. Liquid fats are better for u than solid fats.

Wakula's First Attempt at Vegetable Stew

I cooked this on high in the crock pot for 6 hours. Definitely made it a stew this way. Had to add more liquid it was so thick. Taste was good as written. Didn't have any cabbage and used crushed tomatoes instead of sauce.

Excellent and Healthy Cornbread

This turned out a little odd. I used greek yogurt, so added about 1/4 cup milk. It was still very thick. Cooked at 350 and it was done in 25 min.

These are excellent! Don't try to substitute the butter with applesauce. It just isn't the same. I have tried it both ways.

Apple Lasagna

I made this today for a ladies brunch and served it with sausage links. It was a huge hit with everyone! They all want the recipe. I also used 4 cans of apple filling like some others. Next time I am also going to double the cheese layer as I thought it was kind of "lost" with all the apples. Also used whole wheat oven ready lasagne noodles. This is not an overly sweet dish - making it perfect for a brunch item.
