About this Cook
I have been married for over a year now. My husband says he loves my cooking and it shows when he goes for seconds. I learned some from my mom, some from my mother-in-law and some on my own.
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta! It goes with a lot of different things and its easy to cook. Desserts are my speciality. I have yet to make something that wasn't good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother was brought up in New Mexico and Grandma is German. My mother-in-law is Texan and her mother is Italian. So there is a lot of german, mexican, southern and some italian cooking in my background.
My cooking triumphs
I can make some really good desserts. Dump cakes, Coconut cake and the like.
My cooking tragedies
I remember trying to make a wine sauce with porkchops. Two hours later my husband and I are starving and the wine sauce tastes terrible.

Dump Cake IV
Great recipe. We used canned peaches and cherries. I think its too sweet but my husband loves it and won't let me use stuff with less suger.

Broccoli Casserole
This recipie was good. Like the previous reviews, we used steamed rice and added some chicken to make it a complete meal.
