About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking, I made a recipe that called for a clove of garlic. The only problem being that I didn't know what a clove was, and I used a whole head. My boyfriend (now husband), bless his heart, ate it like a trooper and didn't complain, but I still get embarrassed when I think about it!

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken
I must confess, I made this recipe for the first time YEARS ago, right after I first found this website, and I have never reviewed it. I have to say, this is honestly one of the best recipes I have ever made or eaten. It is super-rich, but worth the time and calories. If you want to seriously impress someone, you should make this dish. The only thing I would note is that it does not reheat very well if you have any left over. If being the operative word. :)

Belly Burner Chili
I made this as my first ever attempt at making chili, for a chili cook-off at work. I made the recipe as written, and I used chorizo for the sausage, as recommended by other reviewers. It was so hot! I got lots of compliments on it, and people seemed to especially like the olives in it, which I guess is pretty unusual for chili. To combat the spiciness of the chili, I added a little bit of sour cream to my serving, to cool it off a bit. I would definitely make this again. :)

Beefy Cheese Dip
I made this recipe to take to work for Cheese Day. I cooked the meat the night before, and this morning threw everything into the crockpot. It was awesome! The two kinds of meat really gave it a nice flavor. Everyone that tried it thought it was delicious. I will definitely make it again. :)
