Rated it a 5 because there was nothing I could say negative about this recipe. I did use ground turkey and sweet onions. So delicious! It was even a big hit with my picky eaters. Think I will make it with mixed veggies next time to make it a little healthier.

Easy Tuna Casserole

I dont give many 5 stars but I'm doing it for this recipe because it is super easy and fast and made just as is, is simply delicious! Of course there are always ways to tweek it to your own liking and make it better but a great recipe as it is! Thank you! ( I will go ahead and post the changes I made the second time that we loved. Doubled the recipe and used 1 can cream of chic. one can cream of mush, slightly less cheese but used sharp cheddar for a potent flavor. Would have been even more delicious with peas and fresh mushrooms but didnt have any on hand)

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

It's annoying when recipes get rated after being altered from the original but that is what I did...not much though. I rated it 4 stars because only after the slight changes did I think it deserved 5. Personal preference maybe. I cut the sugars to about 3/4 c. each, used butter, cut choc. chips to 2 cups (1 cup mini, 1 c. jumbo chips)and sprinkled them lightly with powdered sugar. Plenty sweet, PLENTY of choc chips. absolutely delicious! Next time I think I will try a little coconut and pecans or walnuts for added texture and flavor.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Best Buttercream Frosting

I hate giving things a poor rating in case it is just me doing something wrong. I cant imagine with this simple recipe what I could have done wrong. It just was NOT good. I would not call it "BEST" buttercream frosting. I used this recipe only because I was out of powdered sugar and this was the only one I could find that used regular sugar. Maybe that is what made it bad?

Chicken and Cheese Crescents

This was absolutely fabulous! Here's what little alterations I made: 1st I threw chicken breasts in the slow cooker with some garlic salt,salt and pepper until it fell apart and shredded easily. Then I tossed in shredded Mozerella and chedder cheese. I used one of those new Pillsbury flat, no seam refrigerated doughs and layed the chicken mixture down the middle, pulled up the sides and ends to form a tight seal flipped it over in a 13x9. I poured the sauce down the sides(not over top)and baked until dough was slightly brown then I sprinkled shredded Colby/Jack cheese over the entire dish and baked until cheese was melted. I then sliced it into individual servings. It was so much tastier and easier this way then when I rolled them individually the first time. This will be a new family Favorite.

Lemon-Cream Cheese Cupcakes

I took other reviewers suggestions and added grated lemon rind or zest and I loved the extra little zing it gave. After icing the cake I topped it with fresh raspberries and then sprinkled a bit of powdered sugar over the raspberries. It looked very pretty but tasted even better!

Root Beer Float Cake II

Best way to describe this recipe is bland and nothing special. It was one of 3 cakes I made to bring to a party. The other 2 everyone loved but this cake only had a few pieces gone by the end of the night. Saw a couple of those pieces in the garbage still on their plates. That says it all!

Fluffy French Toast

I dont know how you can get 12 servings out of this. I used regular bread slices which are thin and only had enough batter for 8 1/2 slices. I would say more like 4 adult servings. I made a few little changes that improved it for us. We cut the cinnamon to 3/4 tsp. Then used 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar & 1/2 Tbsp white sugar and added a pich of nutmeg. I think next time I will also make it with 4 eggs instead of 3. I do like the added flour. It gives it a nice texture.

Fluffy French Toast

If you dont want a strong cinnamon flavor, cut it by 1/2. It really is a lot of cinnamon. I also liked the flavor when I used 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar & 1/2 Tbsp white sugar and added a pich of nutmeg. I think next time I will also make it with 4 eggs instead of 3. I do like the added flour. It gives it a nice texture.

Awesome Sour Cream Icing (for cinnamon rolls)

I make cinnamon rolls all of the time and each time I do, I create a different glaze since Ive never found one recipe that I just love...until now! This is such a great, easy, and delicious recipe. I agree that it is better than any Cream Cheese icing. This is a keeper recipe and I will be using from now on for my cinnamon rolls.
