Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This could not possibly be an easier or faster recipe to make. It takes a total of about 3 minutes to make the marinade and then maybe 8 minutes to grill it. The salmon is absolutely DELICIOUS! My fiance has requested this many times since I first made it, and I love what a no-brainer it is!

Grilled Veggie-Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
These burgers came out really delicious. I marinated them in the dressing for about 3 hours and after grilling all the veggies were very juicy. The portabella was nice and tender while the rest of the veggies added a nice crunch. I put the mushroom cap face-up on the bottom, then added the blue cheese crumbles to that (they stay in the burger a little easier that way) and then piled the rest on top. I also used about 3/4 of a bottle of lite balsamic vinaigrette, which cuts down on the calories and you can't taste the difference. Delicious, healthy, and very easy!

Blackberry Wine Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
I used Jell-O's Blackberry Fusion gelatin and it worked great. After pouring half the glaze on the bottom of the cake, I mashed up some blackberries and added them to the glaze before pouring it over the top. It was GREAT! I served this at a dinner party and it was devoured. Due to some of the comments on here I was concerned about it being too sweet but it was just right and very moist. I will be making this again!

Pumpkin Waffles with Apple Cider Syrup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Very tasty! Due to the thickness of the batter I had to leave them in the waffle maker slightly longer than usual, but they turned out great. The syrup tastes just like the syrupy juice from an apple pie. A great Halloween breakfast!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Absolutely delicious! I added some caramelized onions and provolone cheese, then stuck it under the broiler for a minute or two to melt the cheese and toast the bread a bit. My husband and I devoured them!

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This was absolutely DELICIOUS and incredibly easy. Spooning the cheese mixture into a zip-loc bag and then cutting the corner of the bag off made squeezing mixture into the shells a cinch and not messy at all. Everyone loved it! Served with garlic bread and broccoli. I will make this again and again!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

This is absolutely delicious and couldn't be easier to make! I will definitely make this again. I made 'grandmother's buttermilk cornbread' along with it and it made such a delicious meal.

Delicious! It is super chocolatey but very delicious. I made the recipe exactly as written and then poured a raspberry puree over the top. It was a hit!

Minnesota Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
If you love green olives, you'll like this. Unfortunately for me, I'm not the biggest fan and the olives overpowered things for me. My husband thought the eggs just didn't work with the rest of the ingredients and I have to agree.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I substitute ricotta for the sour cream and keep the rest as the recipe says. AMAZING!! I made two large dishes for a crowd and everyone raved about it. It's delicious reheated the next day too! As a tip, I prefer to use Bertolli spaghetti sauce... it seems to have the best flavor.

I make this exactly as written almost every Saturday morning. Absolutely delicious pancakes!! Real maple syrup (no Log Cabin/Mrs. Butterworths stuff) is a MUST!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This is one of my favorite recipes on this site! I've made it more times than I can count. I prefer to double the sauce for spooning over pasta and add capers, otherwise I make it exactly as written. I serve with angel hair.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
AMAZING!! They definitely take awhile to make (it took me about 2 1/4 hours, start to finish) but are not difficult at all. I cooked them at 415 for 8 minutes and they were perfectly done. They're fun to play with too; salt and butter, cinnamon and sugar, and whatever else you like! I will definitely be making these again. They'd be great for something like a Super Bowl party!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I accidentally bought ground turkey instead of turkey sausage, but even with that substitution this was a wonderful dish! It was very simple to make and extremely tasty. I baked it in a dish covered with foil at 350 for 30 minutes and then 15 minutes uncovered. Excellent!

Loved it! I think I will add chopped kalamata olives next time. I used Greek seasoning instead of oregano. Delicious and light!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
Where has this recipe been all my life!?? It was so so so good. I wanted to lick the plate afterward! I substituted half light sour cream and half reduce fat mayo in place of the full amount of mayo to make it a touch healthier. I also did not have garlic pepper, so I used a tablespoon of minced garlic (the kind you get in a jar), plus a pinch of salt and pepper. I will make this again and again!
