Six Egg Pound Cake

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

OMG, we thought this was amazing! Let me first say that I used flap meat just because that was what I had on hand. I doubled the sauce and marinated it for almost 20 hours. When I put the meat on the grill, I put the leftover marinade in a saucepan with a little cornstarch to thicken. Served the meat over sticky white rice, topped with the sauce and a little chopped green onion....perfection! This is going into regular dinner rotation for sure! Thanks Martha!

Cabbage Balushka or Cabbage and Noodles

My son gave this 5 stars...and he almost never does that! I should start by saying that I don't know if I should even review this recipe because I did not stay true to it as written (we gave it 4 stars as written but did make some changes this 2nd time through). I started by browning a pound of diced bacon and when it was crisp, removed it and then sauteed the cabbage and onion together slowly in the bacon fat until nice and carmelized. The I added the bacon back in plus 3 cloves of minced garlic. Then added in cooked homemade noodles. It was sooo good. Thanks rlecook!!

Chef John's Cottage Fries

These are the best little crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside potatoes I've ever eaten. Amazing! My son and I even loved them so much we made them two nights in a row! I can't wait to make these for the rest of my family. I did three 15 minutes sessions and then put them on the rack for another 10 minutes. Wonderful! Thank you Chef John!

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

If my son says it's 5 stars, then it's 5 stars!! He rarely rates things 5 stars, especially when they are spicy but he told me "Mom, I can still like things even though they are spicy". The story is, I REALLY like spicy (I mean SPICY) and him, not so much. Anywho, we both rated this 5 stars....made exactly as written, cooked over low heat on the grill for the amount of time specified and it came out perfect! Wonderful recipe...thanks for posting!

Microwave Popcorn

Easy, inexpensive, and yummy! I do not use oil to cook but spray with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray when it comes out of the microwave. It only takes a few sprays, and it also helps the salt stick to it. What a super snack!!!

Grampa's Coriander Turkey Sausage

This is wonderful sausage....tons of flavor!!! Followed the recipe exactly and I will be for many years to come. I love that it's made with turkey so not quite as fattening but still gives the satisfaction of eating sausage! Thanks for posting.

Thai Cucumber Salad

The dressing is amazing!! I don't really care for cucumbers all that much but my friend brought some over for me so I decided to give this a try. I absolutely fell in love with the dressing...taste just like a dressing from one of my fave restaurants. Now I skip the cucumbers and use it on my salads!! So much flavor! Yummy!

I made these for dinner with my mom and we loved them! I will never buy store-bought croutons again. For the bread I used nearly stale hamburger buns just because that's what I had on hand and they turned out so yummy!

Easy Red Pepper Hummus

This was my first attempt at making hummus and it turned out super-yummy! I took it to work and everyone said it had so much flavor! I roasted my red pepper and also threw in 5 cloves of roasted garlic (cuz I love garlic in almost everything) but other than that I stayed true to the recipe as posted and it was a hit. 5 stars for me! I will definitely be making this again!!

Maple Salmon

Wow! I am not a fish lover but this recipe has changed my mind. It was amazing! Great flavors! I followed the advice of another reveiwer and baked in foil for 15 minutes (to avoid burning the garlic), then opened it up under the broiler for the last 5 minutes, basting with the sauce often. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. The salmon was so moist and delicious. I am going to add this to my dinner rotation for sure! Thanks Starflower!!

Restaurant-Style Taco Meat Seasoning

I love this seasoning! I've decided it's better for me to make a huge batch and store it so I can use it whenever...much easier than measuring those ingredients every time! I have also used this on chicken to make chicken tacos and they came out very nice. Super seasoning!!

Easy Chocolate Bundt Cake Glaze

This was easy and fabulous! I wanted a mint flavored glaze so I used white chocolate chips and 1 tsp peppermint extract plus 6-8 drops of green food coloring. I took this to work for a co-workers birthday and everyone raved about it. I can't wait to try the chocolate version as the recipe is written! This was super easy to make and also easy to work with!
