Red Velvet Cupcakes

I tried this recipe to the exact recipe first. I gave it 4 stars based on the written recipe! ( I hate when someone rates is when the recipe is changed!!) As written it was good and a got to recipe for red Velvet. I made the change of using buttermilk instead of regular milk and I the would give it 5 stars!!! Red velvet requires buttermilk to seperate it from being a chocolate cake!

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

am a tough cridict!! And if I could rate this more stars I would. I do not even like angel food cake but my family s=requested that I make one. This was honestly gone in about 5 minutes!!! Hands down I use allrecipes all the time and this is the only recipe that in my opinion that I have tried is worth rating a 5 star!! Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

Pecan Pie V

This is a great recipe. I did not rate this a 5 star because in my opinion a 5 star means when there is no improvements needed. But this was great! I would recommend this to all. Although I do not like that when it is finished baking that it has a crust like over top without howing any pecans. I would recommend sprinkling some pecans for the finished product to look like a becan pie. Other than that it was really good and we enjoyed it! I also used the butter flakey pie crust recipe. Yum!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

I am torn on reviewing this recipe. The flavor I would give 4 stars but the texture would be a 2. I am a baker and thought I would try this on my chocolate cake that I sell. I made this 4 times before rating this recipe. Satiny should not be the name of this recipe. It is grainy and hardens more than I would expect. I know that oer cooking choc will cause it to have this effect but that is not the case I would recommend doubling the corn syrup. Great flavor just does not make for a smooth "satiny" glaze.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

BLOWN AWAY, not by the flavor or texture but by the reviews. WOW!! I am so so so disappointed. How did this recipe end up being one of the highest rated???? Tried it 2x and both times turned out the same...

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

I am a baker and thought I would give this a shot because the simple ingredients and recipe. WAY WAY to sweet, powdery. This recipe was like eating the center of a buckeye that had way to much confectioners sugar.If you want something extremey sweet not much luck on regular fudeg. try it.

Buckeye Balls II

I have to say I was not impressed at all with this recipe! Sorry! I tasted like pure powdered sugar coated in Chocolate, and very dry. I first followed the recipe to the T, I then made it a second time and increased the peanut butter to 2 cups and reduced the sugar to 3 cups. I would then rate it a a 4.5 Truely this is way way way to sweet!!!

Caramel Apple Jam

I am giving this a 5 star because I am sure it would have been. My husband was helping me make this. While I was stirring he was adding ingredients and i suddenly smelled chili, well he put cumin in it instead of cinnamon. We went with it and added more cinnamon and nutmeg to cover the taste. Can't do anthing but laugh! Still taste great! Although I have to say it was not a quick recipe to make, Someone time consuming comapred to most Jelly recipes.

Fluffy Pancakes

I am not going to say that these are gross by any means, BUT not a five star recipe. I would prefer to eat them from the box. If I was craving pancakes and had no other way to make them i WOULD CONSIDER THIS RECIPE. Sorry! I have tried these 3 times exact recipe, then added vanilla, last time tried more sugar. not great!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

These are good but would not give a 5 star. Breading on the chicken is good for the boneless wings but did not like on bone in wings at all. I am a wing lover a very surprised that it has 5 stars, went back to my original recipe for bone in wings, but I do use this for boneless wings.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

It was ok, followed to the t and just had an odd flavor, so then i added little hotsauce and a few other spices and it was a little better, but original recipe was just an unusual taste. If you decided to make i would use sausage links and fry in pan w/ skins sliced and then add to soup. I personally would not make this again. My mom who could not wait for it to be finished because it smelled so good took turn with my husband giggling and trying to be polite.

Italian Confetti Pasta Salad

Good Pasta, easy to make. Will make again but will try to find something more striking before I do. I feel it had way to much basil in it. But if you like basil you will love this recipe. Thank you for the good recipe.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oh by far the BEST I have EVER had!! In order to make them soft I melted the butter completely . I made 5 dozen for a cookout and EVERYONE loved them!! For the choc. chips. I used 1/2 milk choc chips and 1/2 white choc chips...I have made them several times since. The only bad thing I can say about these cookies is you can not stop eating them until they are gone!! no joke!!mmmmmmmmmmm......

Best Lemonade Ever

Good Lemonaide, I thought it was good. But alot of work for the flavor. I personally have had better. My guest however loved it and it did not last long. I will make again. But maybe instead of squeezing fresh lemons which took forever. I will use premade lemonaide and and following ingredients.

Chicken Milano

Very suprised in the excellent reviews. Very disappointed flavor. My family could not eat it I was embaressed to serve this to them. I have never left a bad review but felt I had to with this one. I followed recipe exactly. HORRIBLE!! I even called my sister who uses all recipes and loves pasta's to worn her not to make it..
