Beer Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
Easy recipe. I will prolly not use Corona again, but it was all I had on hand. I did what another user suggested. I halved the dough, let it sit for about 20 minutes then baked. I also buttered the glass bread dishes before putting the dough in. It slide right out after cooking.

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
very simple, and very good. i did not put the shrimp in with the sauce, but added green and red bell peppers while the sauce was cooking. the shrimp was already cooked so i sauteed it with olive oil and one crushed clove of garlic. seasoned it with salt and pepper too. i took out the bell peppers so they wouldn't get mushy, then i put the pasta in a bowl, put the bell peppers down, shrimp on top then added the sauce to the whole thing. oh, i doubled the sauce too. it was YUMMY!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Well I think it may have been the sour cream, or maybe it was the parma, but it came out with a funny taste, like sour. I don't think I will be making this one again. :(

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

I loved the taste. Great recipe. I made some apricot jam and I needed a biscut to go with them. These were quick and easy. I followed the recipes exactly and made small ones, they puffed up just fine.

Apricot Pineapple Jam

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
When I was younger there was an older woman who would come by and pick apricots from our tree and then come back with a few jars of jam. She did this for 2 years and then that was it. I never saw her again....since then I have always loved apricot jam, but store bought was never the same. The other night my boyfriend brought me some apricots and I thought "why not try and make some?" And since I love pineapple I thought I would try this recipe and it was great! Very easy. I used orange juice instead of grapefruit juice. And when I boiled the apricots (I did peel them before boiling) I used 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 of orange juice because I really like oranges. Pineapple in it's own juice (drained. and i accidently bought chunks. so i just put them in the blender after i boiled them in the mixture for a lil. less time mashing the apricots too.) And I used 2 1/2 cups of sugar since I used more orange juice. I can't say again how good it was. I will be making this again and again! Thanks for posting! =)
