Married with three children and one grandchild. Love to have family gatherings cooking out and playing horseshoes. Maintain an herb garden for cooking both of which are great hobbies. Southern favorites: Fried green tomatoes, turnip greens, any fresh veggies, grilled or smoked meats, coleslaw, potatoe salad, pasta salads and anything that works well for cookouts or crowds. Favorite family cooking tradition is cooking big holiday meals with my mother and sister. Learning to cook with fresh herbs. They are fun to grow and even better to use in cooking. Baking cakes or pies, other than cookies desserts are just not my forte.
