Cherry Pineapple Cabana Dump Cake

this is one of my FAVORITES! I've been making this for years and wanted to make sure it was posted!! I use mixed nut. I've not had them burn. I have not tried coconut, but I'm excited to try! This is so easy and tastes GREAT, if your reading this recipe, you must try it!!

White Almond Wedding Cake

I honestly have yet to use this with white cake. However, I have used lemon! Since keeping the cake light in color isn't an issue, I use 2 whole eggs, add 1 or 2 TBS of lemon extract and I think its a cardinal sin to add water to a cake, thus I use milk. Its FANTASTIC and will continue to use this when making ANY cake mix!!! **Update** I made this with German Chocolate cake . . added one 4oz bar of german chocolate melted with 1/2 cup water and 2 heaping TBS of dark chocolate cocoa, also left out the almond and added vanilla. Cake was GREAT and VERY moist! Next I'm going to try pink champagne cake and instead of water use champagne, whipped egg whites and fold into cake!! I have a good feeling about this!

Someone else posted "ADD 2 1/2 TEASPOONS OF MILK WHEN THE MARSHMALLOWS ARE ALMOST DONE MELTING AND IT MAKES IT CREAMIER!!!" Take her advice!! You can even SEE it happen!

Onion Jam

I did like it. However, it didn't look very pretty. I don't think it ever REALLY jells like jam. So be carful to not over cook it. I probably over cooked! If I was to have a BBQ and invite family and friends, I would make it again. Yet, 4 cups of onion only made a little over 8oz. Also, my sugar seized up also and I just kept on it . . . it all breaks up!

Brownie Frosting

I got rave reviews from friends!! it is VERY sweet and only use this full amount if making a full pan (9x13) of brownies. A little goes a LONG way! Next time I DEFINITELY want to add nuts to the frosting while hot! And I can't wait to use it on cake!! YUMMY!! (Also, my co-workers said the whole thing tested just like fudge!)

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

I used dark chocolate cake (my cake had pudding in the mix so I left that out) and full sized chocolate chips. Also, instead of water I used coffee. Next time, if I use chocolate chips they will be the mini ones, the big ones were just too much for me. I want to try kahlua too! I will make again.

Sweetened Condensed Milk

Well this was a big bummer. I made a key lime pie and thought it would be better with home made sweetened condensed milk. Wrong! This SCM has a weird texture. I did everything as it was asked. I can't say that it tastes bad, I just can't get over the texture. I will only be making my key lime pie with OTC SCM.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

As I read the reviews I noticed this is one marinade you love or hate! We loved it! It does have a strong balsamic flavor, but we like that flavor. I marinaded it for about 3 hrs in a vac marinator and that was enough for me. Next time I would maybe leave out the salt or half it . . . and I also bubbled the liquid smoke (I love that stuff) and used 1 tps of black pepper. 6 mins cooking on each side worked for us. Thanks Angie for a good marinade.

Luscious Four-Layer PHILLY Pumpkin Cake

I love it!! I only had pumpkin pie in a can and I just drained it to get most of the liquid out. I didn't use cool whip, I used the powder whipped topping. I love the taste of pumpkin so I also used lots of pumpkin spice. . . .don't be shy with it! It smelled GREAT and tasted even better! I can't wait to make it again! I didn't top it with anything. I'll be honest it wasn't the prettiest cake, but with its taste, it didn't matter!

Six-Week Bran Muffins

These are very tasty! I love them slathered in butter! I did add some freeze dried apples (but I can't really taste them). I have more batter in the frig and the next batched I added cinnamon. But over all, for how easy they are . . . . their very tasty! I will make them again! Kudos to the 12 year old . . . . Its all in the name! :) **Update** I like the taste of all brown sugar being used. I also sprinkle some vanilla sugar on the top for an added crunch. I have tried subbing some of the cereal for an oatmeal crunch type, it was good. I liked it either way. I'm make this for a bake sale. Thanks for sharing your recipe Michelle!

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

I have used this with heavy cream . . and its FANTASTIC!! I will make again!!! I didn't have cream and tried to use non fat milk, it was terrible! If you don't have the cream, don't use milk! Just look for another recipe for which you have the correct ingredients for!!

Steak Tip Marinade

I can't wait to make this for company and not tell them what I did! I didn't use garlic pepper (I don't care for pepper) but I did add garlic powder. Oh yeah, I used this on tri tip. I over cooked the meat and yet it was still tender!!! I have extra marinaded and plan on trying it with chicken! :) Thanks again! *Update. cut tri tip in half while marinating. I left it whole today and even after 8 hrs it wasn't long enough. I think 24 would would be great! I don't think you can over marinate!

Egg Paint

I LOVE IT!!! I used some almond flavoring with it and it was GREAT. I used red food coloring and added red sugar sprinkles, froze them for about 15 mins and baked. They look professional! I will always do this with my sugar cookies!
