AWESOME recipe! I TRIPLED the recipe, added chopped walnuts, replaced the raisins for dried cranberries (all I had at the time) and viola! TASTY and MOIST! Everyone at church LOVED THEM!!! I made a cream cheese, butter, vanilla, confectioners sugar and salt (mix all together) frosting for the top. THANK YOU for this E-Z and very good recipe! I do agree that 20 minutes is TOO LONG to bake them. 15-16 minutes in a perfectly calibrated oven is definitely enough time. Just keep an eye on them...when lightly golden brown...THEY ARE DONE! :)
