Buttermilk Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
Very good recipe! My brother-in-law showed up this afternoon for dinner carrying a full flat of strawberries! I popped on AllRecipes.com and chose this recipe! Super easy, quick and most yummy! Thanks for posting this recipe. :) Oh, and I love the one review that talks about freezing the butter and then grating it into the flour mixture. GREAT TIP!!

Crab Cake Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
I am serving crab cakes tomorrow night at our little NYE gathering. This sauce will be perfect! I did read at least half the reviews and I too made some changes: added garlic & onion powder, a little salt, some dried dill, and a little more lemon juice. I can't wait to taste it tomorrow when all of the flavors come together! It tastes pretty good right now! Thanks for this recipe!

Yum Yum Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
Yummy! This is a nice sauce that can be tweaked to suit your taste. I am serving it tomorrow night for a little NYE gathering with bacon wrapped shrimp and pineapple appetizers. I added Sriracha sauce, and pretty much doubled all the dry ingredients. I think everyone will love it! THANK YOU!

Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
UNBELIEVABLE! These were PERFECT! I read at least 40 of the reviews and felt like I was armed with the perfect information in order for these to come out FABULOUS! And they did! Here are the few minor changes I made: * I heated up really HOT the butter/Olive Oil/drippings mixture I had poured into the bottom of the (6) muffin tins in the oven before I poured the batter in. * I used my blender to mix the batter and let it sit at room temp for several hours. * I put in 2 T. of additional flour so the batter was a little thicker. A-W-E-S-O-M-E results! THANK YOU for this recipe. :)

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
Fabulous sauce! I added 1 T. flour to the melted butter (previous reviewer's note - for thickening), more garlic, and I added onion powder and a little pink sea salt. Really, really yummy! THANK YOU for this recipe!

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
Just finished dinner and this recipe was AMAZING! I only changed one thing...I added garlic to the reduction and the rub! We will do this recipe again and again. My husband and I were talking at dinner about how we would like to have friends come over and share this entree with them. THANK YOU for this recipe!

Crispy Fried Fish

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
Replace the corn flakes with Panko and I assure you that you will never have a better crispy fish coating in your life. I also use this recipe for deep frying pickles and anything else I can get my hands on to fry with this batter. This is such a hit with everyone!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Funny! We give this recipe a 5 star but we change it entirely! I also changed a bunch of things on this recipe! Boullion, egg white on crust, double the gravy, no celery salt so garlic powder worked great, cooler over (375), longer cooking time (I tented crust with foil then removed for a final browning). It was fabulous. Apologies to the original submitter! Sometimes this happens. :)

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
The perfect Sloppy Joe recipe. I never really knew what was in Sloppy Joe's 'till now! We had leftover BBQ'ed London Broil so I chopped it super fine and used it instead of the groud beef. Added a little olive oil to the onions and bell pepper because I did not have the grease from cooking ground beef. Added a little water and simmered for 30 minutes as stated in the recipe. Toasted the Crustini Sandwich Rolls on one side. Hubby LOVED these!

Texas Caviar I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Excellent! We added Cumin instead of coriander (did not have on hand). Also added 1/4 cup of lemon juice and a dash of lemon salt shavings. I roasted the jalapenos in the over first. Serving this tomorrow night with thinly sliced sour dough baguette slices.

Salmon Rosemary Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2005
Fabulous! My passion is cooking and I have prepared so many dishes...it NEVER dawned on me to prepare burgers made from salmon! My husband mixed the ingredients and he does things by-the-book. We followed the directions to-the-tee. We grilled these up and they were INCREDIBLY TASTY! They stay together perfectly, had no shrinkage (make the patties exactly to the size of your onion rolls for the perfect fit), and if you double the recipe, form more patties and freeze them. They freeze perfectly fine. The olive oil is a great addition and healthy too! I give this recipe 5 stars. Will do again and again. Bravo to the author.

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2005
5-Star rating is not nearly enough for this recipe! It is awesome! You can add anything you want to this basic muffin recipe: nuts, fresh fruit, cinnamon, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, coconut! I have made this recipe many times now. One time, I poured the batter into the muffin pan and then dropped a heaping teaspoon of raspberry jelly on top of each muffin, took a knife tip and swirled it once througout the batter, baked as normal and the muffins came out MARVELOUS! Today I will bake this recipe again and it will be apples and cinnamon! Bravo to the author of this recipe! THANK YOU! Note: DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
AWESOME recipe! I TRIPLED the recipe, added chopped walnuts, replaced the raisins for dried cranberries (all I had at the time) and viola! TASTY and MOIST! Everyone at church LOVED THEM!!! I made a cream cheese, butter, vanilla, confectioners sugar and salt (mix all together) frosting for the top. THANK YOU for this E-Z and very good recipe! I do agree that 20 minutes is TOO LONG to bake them. 15-16 minutes in a perfectly calibrated oven is definitely enough time. Just keep an eye on them...when lightly golden brown...THEY ARE DONE! :)

Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
Awesome dish! I served it with Basmati rice. I also chipped in some Kalamata Greek olives and added them with the tomatoes and spinich. I used more Feta than asked for, as well as more oregano, twice the spinich and chicken broth. But...I tend to add more of most things in recipes. My husband loved it! The sauce is outstanding. Makes lots of it...you'll want to for the rice. :)
