About this Cook
I love making new dishes! My tastes are for the not so healthy foods! I love food, eating and cooking! I can do without the cleanup, afterward!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year I go all out on holidays & make 5 course meals with my familys help! The holidays are the greatest, at Christmas we make butter cookies and butter balls and give some away as gifts to friends and family. The quality time spent with my family while cooking/baking is wonderful!
My cooking tragedies
Way too many to list from when I first started out. ;)

Chicken Marsala
My family loved this recipe as written!!! I only made two changes, I added into the flour/spice mixture, 1 packet of granulated chicken bouillon, which added more flavor than regular salt would have. We love mushrooms so I doubled the amount. As for prep, I took another reviewers advice to put the flour/spice mixture in a plastic sandwich bag, then added each piece of chicken then shook the bag to coat chicken. Made for a quick and easy clean up. Will definitely add to my dinner rotation!! Thanks for sharing!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way
Very tasty! I made this today for Thanksgiving and had rave reviews! I brined the turkey overnight then made turkey with just a slight change, I substituted the warm water for chicken broth..other than that I followed the recipe exactly. Excellent! Thanks!
