Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This banana bread is very good.I made a couple of changes. The recipe calls for 1 cup butter or margarine, I used 1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup applesauce. The recipe also calls for 2 cups white sugar,Used 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup splenda.I also put a powdered sugar glaze on top.The bread was very moist and flavorfull.I also used pecans in place of the walnuts.I only baked it for about 50 minutes and it was done.Great recipe that I will make again.

I have tried several dinner roll recipes and this one is the BEST I have tried.I just rolled them into balls and they were great.Tomorrow I may try to make some cinnamon rolls using this recipe.

These rolls were pretty good but not as light, airy and fluffy as I was hoping.I will keep making them though until I find that perfect recipe.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
I made these tonight and they are great. The only changes I made was I lowered the temp. to 350 deg. and I added chopped pecans on top of the brown sugar mixture.I frosted what we ate but left the others unfrosted.I think we heat the rolls up in the microwave and frost them as we eat them. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
These are great biscuits. The dough was so wet I did add a little flour to stiffen it up some. Some reviews said to bake in the butter, some said not to bake in the butter.I choose to bake them in the butter. They sure are fattening like this but boy are they good.I will be making these again and again. Not too often though because they are so fattening with all the butter. But once or twice a month will be good.I am so glad I found this recipe.

Apple Pound Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This cake is great.I did add 1/2 more spices than listed and added 2 tbs orange juice as suggested by someone else.I also added about 1/4 cup chopped almonds to the glaze.I glazed the cake while it was still warm.I couldn't even wait till the cake was cool before I had to cut a slice and taste it.All I can say is WOW!!!!My husband also had a warm slice and loved it.It sort of fell apart when I cut it but that was probably my fault because the cake had not cooled. I will absolutely make this cake agin.Everyone should really try this.YUMMY!!!!!!!!! Edit: I made this cake again for the second time.I used apples take I had frozen earlier. It was just as good.I sent my mother this recipe and she tried it and also lovrd it.I think I will try it again using bananas. I will let you know how it comes out when I make it.

Vinegar Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2008
This pie was really yummy. It is far from the pecan pie I usually make with the corn syrup.I didn't have any corn syrup on hand so I chose this recipe. For my taste it could have been a little sweeter but still it was very good. Thanks for the recipe.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2008
This is a great recipe.I used 1/2 cup lemon juice and 1 tsp lemon extract because I didn't have any lemons on hand.It was just the right amount of tartness. The meringue did weep but that doesn't bother me.It was a beautiful pie.My husband really loved it.Lemon meringue is one of his favorites. Thanks for the recipe. It really had the old fashioned taste.
