Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
This was good. It wasn't like"KFC crispy", but I am GLAD I did NOT add the extra butter to the dish as some sugg. Wouldn't have been that much crisper, and would have been SUPER unhealthy. I used dried herbs as I didnt have fresh on hand. I think next time I will try another type of cheese to play with the flavor. Oh, and I cut mine into strips and only baked for 35-40 minutes. If you like a more muted flavor try italian BC and minus the herbs.

Cheesy Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Our family really liked this. I tweeked to our taste- added 2 tsp each of onion salt and garlic salt(+pepper) to egg and no reg. salt. i used cojack cheese and 1/4 yellow onion. i also used 5 med. potatoes with 6 eggs(could've used 8) and 4 slc. bacon. oh, i also microwaved the taters(peeled and cut in half) for 3 minutes first. No leftovers of this one!

Potato Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
It was too bad. This came out much better than I thought it would. My husband was suprised I made them in the nuker. But it was alot of work. Having to watch them and having to do so many batches. I stopped when the house started to smell odd, and my hubbie said it was due to not having enough "stuff" in the nuker. i think the oven or the fryer is the best bet though.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
I omitted the chopped mushrooms and used 3 packets of brown gravy mix and 1 packet of onion gravy mix. i also cooked my ground beef with chopped onions and garlic. this gave it a better flavor, but it is still missing something. this is a great base, but i will continue to tweek it.

Chicken Gravy

Reviewed: May 8, 2008
I admit I also altered the recipe by using milk instead of water to make the rue. But still, this recipe might work in a pinch for some people, but i would never serve it to guests. It was fine for my kids and hubby, and they said it wasn't bad or anything, but it was very... gel like. not to my liking at all. next time i will do everything the same, only i will add flour to the milk instead and try that. this is a very basic recipe, good for people new to making gravy to get practice also. worth trying, some people like certain types of gravy and others dont. oh, also, i added pepper to taste also.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This is EXACTLY what I wanted in a cookie!! Soft, chewy, buttery, and sugary. The cookie your mom used to make. I only made slight alterations. I only used 1 cup of chocolate chips in mine and I put the dough in the fridge before baking them. I also wanted more "normal" sized cookies, so i made balls about 1/8 cup worth each and cooked them at 325 for 13 mins. When you take them out they are still light and dont look done, but that is how they should be if you want them soft. but they firm up fine after cooling. PERFECT!!! These are the cookies my kids will remember!
