I don't know where I went wrong, but no one in my family liked these. They sat for a few days!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
This has become a weekly feature at our house. The kids look forward to it. I do add a bit of Franks Hot Sauce to the egg before dipping the chicken in for an extra kick!

General Tao Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
My famly loves this and my fussy boys do not complain when I make this. I find it very authentic. I do add one green pepper to the sauce before adding the chicken and also some green onion slivers on top before serving. It makes it look like restaurant style. I was leery about the oyster sauce initially but it makes it so much better.

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
I used the basic recipes without cinnamon though. I precooked the bottom crust for about 10 minutes to get it partially baked as some reveiwers found the bottom not cooked through. I then whipped together 2 bricks of cream cheese and one can of lemon pie filling and 1 cup of sugar. I spread it over the bottom crust ( it was still pretty hot), and topped it off with the top layer of cresent dough. I then melted about 1'4 cup butter and 2 tblsp. sugar in the microwave for about 1 minutes and drizzles this on top of the pie. I baked it uncovered for about 35 minutes. I took it to a dinner party and boy did it go fast!

Napa Cabbage Salad

I also dry roast the noodles and nuts and it becomes very nice and crunchy. I add the noodles and dressing at the very end just before serving. Always a winner.

I loved this and already made it twice in one week. I took it to a potluck and it was gone FAST!! I did add some chopped green onions and also some red onions in the salad. You cannot go wrong with this. It is so quick and easy and look very gourmet.

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
I also modified this recipe into a Tex Mex style dish. I added 1 package of taco seasoning while the beef was browning. I also added 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro. I added the diced tomatoes to the beef and not layered into the pan. As another reviewer suggested I added 1/2 cup of milk to the soup before adding. I actually tossed the noodles into the soup mixture. I did a layer of noodles and layer of beef and topped with cheese. Came out nice and not dry. (i covered it with foil as well)

Pakistani Pot Roast Beef Fillets (Pasanday)

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
I made this last night for dinner and it was a hit! My Mom cooks pasanday's and her recipe was far more complicated and even she commented how much better these were! My family loved it even my very fussy boys.
