Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
Delicious! I kept reducing the baking time on each batch and 6 1/2 minutes was good for my oven. You have to take them out before they look done. Thanks for this recipe!

Absolutely Delicious! I didn't have any cider vinegar so I had to use red wine vinegar. It was still delicious. Thanks!

Delicious. I used some hot sausage that a friend gave us instead of the beef. I may add some chopped broccoli next time. Thanks.

A little spicy for me, but my husband really liked it. I substituted cola for the beer and omitted the tarragon. Thanks.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2005
So good!!!!! The batter will not be dry after you add the zucchini. The moisture comes from the zucchini. Do not add an egg if you want a moist, fudgy brownie. If you add an egg you will get a cake. I don't understand those that change the recipe and then give a bad rating. The only change I made is that I only added 1/4 cup nuts. Mine were done at 20 minutes. The frosting is excellent but they really don't need it. Thanks so much!!! A keeper!!!

Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
This is delicious! I make this all the time, except I use the Ore Ida with green/red peppers for color, and I use either ritz crackers or cornflakes for the topping. This always goes well at our church potlucks!

Really good and moist. Didn't have italian breadcrumbs, so I crushed some Ritz crackers and added 1 tsp dried oregano.

Zucchini Pineapple Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
Wow, I am really surprised that this doesn't have more ratings. This was so moist (not wet) and delicious. Just the right amount of spice. I cut the recipe in half and put the batter in 3 mini loaf pans. Had an extra banana so I threw that in there also. I chopped the zucchini in a mini chopper. It rose beautifully. I wouldn't ever make a bread recipe without crushed pineapple. This is a keeper. Thanks!

Very good! Might add a little more sugar and some vanilla next time. Cooked on medium heat. Don't overmix batter, as it should be lumpy. Thanks!

So good!!! Made this today with pumpkin spice pudding. Added 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup flour to the crust and would only use 1/2 cup pecans next time just for personal preference. Thanks!!!
