The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2013
I followed the recipe exactly except I ran out of flour at two cups, so I used 1/2 of bread flour instead. The cookies came out delicious. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the texture is a bit different than cookies made out of butter. The texture seems smoother with these. I wanted to make choc. chip cookies and I did not have butter on hand so I made these. I will make them again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
Excellent. I did not change a thing. I only added 1tsp of minced garlic the last 10 min of cooking. I DID NOT modify as others using bread crumbs or the oven. I used the flour and the skillet as the recipe suggested.

Graham Cracker Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
They were so bland even after I took the comments of adding 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. I made them this morning to bring to a friends house, and now I have to make something else. They also didn't shape into a muffin coming out of the muffin pan. They came out looking like a blob.

Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Great tasting bread. My boys 7 and 9 year old really loved it. My husband and I liked it as well. I have made different breads in my bread machine and this I rate as one that I intend to use often. I didn't have 3 cups of reg. white flour only 1 cup so I used 2 cups bread flour and 1 cup white all purpose flour. Someone on the site mentioned that the oats give it some gluten so I decreased the oats by taking away 3 tablespoons. The bread turned out great except it sunk in the middle a little. Nevertheless, it didn't change the bread flavor or texture it still was delicious. Maybe I just need to add a tiny bit less of the yeast. Maybe that was the problem or maybe because I used some bread flour in the recipe.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Great crepes my kids loved them. I just added a little more milk to make the batter thinner, 3 tablespoons of butter instead of 5. I also used 3 whole eggs as someone else suggested. We filled the crepes with a tablespoon of chocolate chips and the warmth of the crepes melted the chocolate chips. Thanks

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
Great recipe except I would make some changes. It was too sweet for us, a little too wet in the middle after baking it for 45 min.and it needed more peaches. Therefore, next time I will decrease sugar on the peaches to 1 cup add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water instead and increase peaches by two more peaches. The kids loved it with a little whipped cream on top of their piece. This cobbler recipe is a keeper, wonderful. Thanks Jan.
