Thank you for this great recipe. I made it exactly as the recipe, but next time I'll cook the chicken first (as someone else suggested). The sauce was so good, even though we were skeptical about using ketchup. I will pass this one out - it is our new favourite.

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

This recipe turned out perfect! I also used much less oil, and added Lawry's seasoning salt instead of plain salt for a little zip. An excellent southern meal.

Coffee Roast

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

These were wonderful, in fact I couldn't detect the lack of crab. Thanks for the tips on draining the zucchini, a little salt and a heavy weight did the trick. I had to search for the Old Bay seasoning, but found it at "Real Canadian Superstore". (I live in western B.C.) This will become a "favourite". Thanks, Helen.

Baked Spaghetti I

Great recipe with a few changes; I used a large can of crushed tomatoes and added spaghetti seasoning and garlic. Even better leftover!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

This was wonderful!! Never have I enjoyed a salad as much as this, my Mum and I nibbled at the leftovers till the bowl was empty. Even my stepDad liked it and he doesn't like "new" foods!! My daughter, who doesn't like cabbage liked it too. Thanks for this recipe.

Baked Sesame Chicken

We loved this. My daughter, who didn't want any ate 2 chicken breasts. Next time I'll bake it on parchment paper to avoid losing all the coating to the bottom of the pan.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Excellent recipe. I modified it a bit though by cutting all dry ingredients in half, adding 500ml buttermilk and 2 large eggs. A light fluffy pancake resulted and we had enough left over to freeze for "quick" breakfasts.

Excellent and Healthy Cornbread

This is a simple recipe with delicious results. I added 1/2 cup liquid honey, next time I'll add just 1/4 cup as it was a little too sweet. It held well together and was great with baked beans. This is a keeper!

American-Italian Pasta Salad

This was a very delicious pasta salad. I used garlic/parsley fusilli which added just a hint of garlic. I will add this to my favourite recipes list.

Long Soup

Excellent. I used a canned chicken broth by Swanson with chinese writing on the can, and I added baby corn cut into little rounds, plus a few drops of sesame oil. Very delicious, next time time I'll add different vegetables.

Rice A Roni™ Salad
