Company Liver with Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
My husband loves liver but not with sour cream. He ate it but did not like it. He said, "please make it the other way" with liver, onions, and a bit of beef broth simmered. I will leave the sour cream for the beef stroganoff!!

Bar-B-Que Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
I made this sauce using white vinegar and regular mustard----it was excellent. I do not see myself using bottled sauce again. I think next time I might add chopped onion too. Thanks Debi for the Great Recipe!

Kolachky

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
This recipe is Very Good! And most important when I rolled it out on wax paper using flour and confectioners' sugar....it was Great! This is certainly a keeper!! So many other recipes like this tend to make me swear during the roll out process!! I got 90 cookies and in my oven they only needed to bake for 14 minutes! Thanks Patricia!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
I added 1 can of cream of tomato soup as someone suggested but it was on the dry side. I should have reduced the bread crumb mixture as someone suggested....way too much! And the leftovers are dry but I will add some milk and hope for the best. The flavor is good, not your traditional mac and cheese but tasty! Thanks!

Best Ever Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer!

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
Who would think beer and tomato paste make such a Great Hot Sausage dish! I boiled my hot sausage for 40 minutes before browning it but that was the only part that I did differently. I hated having to use 2 beers for the dish but it was certainly worthwhile!I only used green peppers as I had no red ones to use. I added only 1Tablespoon of hot sauce instead of 3 Tablespoons, since I used hot sausage. My husband likes it hot and he said it was Perfect! Thanks for this recipe, it is a Keeper!!

Smoked Sausage Oktoberfest

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
The combination of the kraut and the apples is very tasty! I was not sure if I should have rinsed the kraut or not. I did not rinse it but added a tablespoon of brown sugar, as it was too tart. What are refrigerated potatoes? Not sure....I used regular potatoes and cooked the dish for an hour. I will surely make this recipe again!

Scott's Buffalo Wing Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
We loved this hot chicken wing sauce! I did cut back on the butter by only 2 tablespoons, based on other reviews. It is surely a keeper! Better than bottled wing sauce! Thanks Scott!

Mashed Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This is a Great Recipe! The only change that I made was decreasing the Salt to 1/4 teaspoon. I love being able to mix it ahead of time and bake it when needed! Regular mashed potatoes cool down so fast once on the table....this one stays good and hot in the casserole! We place it on a trivet in the middle of the table! Thanks for sharing this Great Recipe!

Frank's Spicy Alabama Onion Beer Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I made this chili using all of the ingredients listed, except I did not add the hot peppers! And I used 2 Tablespoons of crushed red pepper flakes. My husband loves "spicy" chili but this was a bit too hot! The next time, I will eliminate the crushed red pepper flakes and cut back on the chili powder. The texture of the chili is good and with less heat I am sure it will be just perfect!
