Harvest Corn Chicken Chowder

Delicious and hearty! I used carrots instead of peppers, bacon instead of ham and chicken broth instead of water and omitted the bouillon. Yumy!

Cindy's Beef Tips

My family loved this! I used 1 1/2lbs stew meat and left out the cornstarch because it thickened up nicely for me on its own. A keeper for sure!

Noodle Skillet

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This dish was awesome! I not sure why it has low stars? I found this recipe going through my old quick cooking magazines and looked for it on AR to see if I could find it and read the reviews on it because it seemed like such a simple dish. Not only was it easy, but it was really good! I used 1 lb gr. beef and added an extra clove of garlic. The only thing that my magazine says that this recipe doesnt is to use 5 cups egg noodles. Yum!

This were very good!! I used russet potatoes and left their skins on. I cut back a little bit with the cheese and used chedder. I also added half the bacon to the mixture and sprinkled the rest on the top along with some green onions at the very end. Yummy!!

Cathy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
This has a really good flavor! I used chicken broth instead of white wine and I also only used 4 breasts. My only complaint is that the cheese seems to just melt into the sauce and you dont really know its there.

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
This recipe was AWESOME! One of my favs from this site. I used a pork tenderloin and didnt have onion salt so I just subbed onion powder and added salt. I would rather use the garlic and onion powder that way I can add the amount of salt I want. Super delicious! Make sure to watch it on the grill because the sugar will burn it pretty fast.

Scallop Scampi

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
Yum! I added shrimp along with the scallops. Doubled the sauce using half butter half olive oil. I also used parm cheese instead of romano and fettuccini instead of linguini. I also let the sauce simmer for a little bit before adding the seafood. Perfect!

Luck o' the Irish Brownie

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
These turned out great! They were a little sweet but I figured they would be just by reading the ingredients. A big hit with the kids! I had to use more food coloring to get the right green. I also used less peppermint extract because I read that the full amount was a little overwhelming.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
This had really good flavor! A little on the salty side and I did 1/2 tablespoon of sea salt. My roast was a little bigger than 3 lbs so I let it go a little longer than one hour and it was still very rare. I also added some Rosemary to the rub. Very delicious! Next time less salt and cook a hair longer. Thanks for sharing:)

Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
My kids liked this recipe. I thought it was a little bland and slightly watery and I didnt add the full amout of milk. I did use 1lb of gr. beef instead of 1/2 lb which im glad I did otherwise it would have been even more watery. I will probably make this again with a few changes.
