Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

A very good low fat recipe! I added Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper to the meat while it cooked to give it a bit more flavour. I added parmesan cheese to the mixture before I stuffed the peppers which really helped give it a flavour boost.I also followed the advice of another reviewer and put pasta sauce on top and around the peppers while they baked and then served it with spaghetti.

Cabbage and Smoked Sausage Pasta

My family loves this recipe. It is definitely comfort food. I cut down on the butter and olive oil quite a bit. Last time I added some paprika and it was a great addition. I use lean smoked turkey sausages to cut down on the fat a little.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

This is a delicious way to use up leftover rice. It is so quick and is restaurant quality. My family asks for this recipe over and over! I just use whatever frozen veggies I have on hand.

Easy Pasta Fagioli

I LOVED this recipe! It was so easy and uses ingredients I'm likely to already have in my pantry. I made a couple of small changes...I used navy beans instead of cannellini beans because I couldn't find any of those. I also added a few slices of cooked bacon I had leftover in the freezer. Also, I sauteed the veggies and added these and all of the rest of the ingredients (except the pasta) to the slow cooker. I cooked it on high for about 4 hours. I cooked the ditalini separate and just added it at the last minute. It turned out great!!

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

These didn't come out very well at all. I baked them for 35 minutes, the top sprang back and a toothpick came out clean and it was still undercooked when I cut them. I made it for dessert for company so I was quite disappointed. It tasted good but the texture was quite yucky.

Tex-Mex Patty Melts

This was DELICIOUS! I have never made a patty melt before but what a great way to make a hamburger. I used much less chipotle than was called for and I was glad. I only used about 1/4 of one in the burgers and another 1/8-1/4 in the mayo. It was plenty hot enough for my family. A super recipe.

Cheese Ravioli with Fresh Tomato and Artichoke Sauce

Really liked this recipe. My husband doesn't even like artichokes but he liked this. I added a whole can of artichokes and it was a bit too much, half would be better. Very tasty!
