Firecracker Burgers

Green chilis are not exactly a spicy food so I have no idea why this is called a "firecracker". My husband, a Yankee, thought it was good (go figure) but I found it to be really bland.

Jalapeno-Garlic-Onion Cheeseburgers

Ohhh these were good....I'm a fire-breathing native Texan so I love this spicy stuff. Awesome on toasted buns with a big spoonful of guacamole. I did add a teaspoon of Montreal steak blend just to balance the flavors a little and a good shake of Frank's hot sauce.

Stromboli

My kids went nuts over this!! I used homemade marinara as a dipping sauce instead of putting it inside the sandwich due to a messy three year old. They are already asking to have this again on pizza night.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Yum!! These cookies were too good. My husband thinks chocolate chip cookies are a food group so I have been in search of the perfecet fat, chewy cookie for him. We didn't even wait for these to cool off before digging in. I'm giving it four stars because it does stay a tiny bit gooey in the middle after cooling but that could have been my fault. I made 12 really big cookies with it. Freezing the dough for an hour before baking is a must if you want them to turn out right.
