A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
I made these without mace or coconut. I added some white chocolate chips because I didnt have sufficient semisweet ones. Also, I substituted the corn flakes for Special K. VERY GOOD!

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
Simple and delicious. I cut the recipe in half and followed the instructions as written. I used red cooking wine. The second time I made it, I omitted the salt and pepper and it still tasted great!

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
I am a pasta lover but often struggle to find recipes that do not revolve around dairy products (my partner is lactose). My partner is not fond of veggies but he will eat whatever I put in this dish. I have made this recipe twice with a side of "Chicken and Red Wine Sauce" also on this website.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
I did not know what to expect from this recipe because I had never made wings. Also, I was hesitant about the flavor most reviewers mentioned making their signature sauce. I only made one substitution; I didnt have cayenne pepper thus I used chili powder. The wings were amazing!!

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
This is amazing. I omitted the tomatillo sauce and the celery salt because I didn't have them at hand. Also, I used fresh grated garlic, and since I had no fresh cilantro I used "Cilantro minicubes". These you can find in the Hispanic food section at WalMart and come in a small blue box, they are made by Knorr.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
These are simple delicious, perfect for freezing. Now I tried the filling before adding the cheese and I think that next time I will cut on the cheese. It might have been that I used 2% or that I used Colby and Monterrey but I felt that the cheese overshadowed some of the other flavors. Also, I had no jalapeno and no red cayenne pepper so I added more cumin and red chili. I didn't fry them, I sprayed them with Pam and baked them at 450.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
This is very quick and easy to make especially if you freeze white rice like I do or simply make the rice the day before and leave it in the fridge. I have made this rice twice using 1/2 cup of diced ham rather than the chicken. With that exemption the recipe is great. You can play with the amount of soy sauce you like

Sunday's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
As other reviewers I added some nutmeg, and used only 3 apples (fuji, granny smith and golden delicious). It was my first time making a pie and it came out great.

I am not a lover of moist rice but this dish was delicious, I served it with the "Chicken breasts with balsamic vinegar and garlic" from this website.

Followed the reviews and omitted the flour. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
These were very easy to make and were ok. I didn't do the glazing on top and that might have been what was missing. Now, I didn't find anything spectacular about them.

So yummy. I even froze the dough in small balls and have been baking them whenever I feel like ice cream with a warm cookie.

Apple Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
These were delicious. Following another reviewer's advice I baked them at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. I didn't have pumpkin spice and so used another recipe on the website which allowed me to use ingredients I already had at home.

I had no trouble with the topping, just pressed it before baking. I added a bit of cinnamon and vanilla to the batter. DELICIOUS!
