Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
I have made this recipe 4 times now. This is, by far, my favorite recipe! Everyone who I have had eat it, absolutely LOVES it, from my 3 year old to my husband. (Who hates mushrooms). I double the sauce because I like to pour extra sauce on my pork and potatoes. Besides that, I don't change a thing. The pork literally cuts like butter, and the flavor is to die for! Defiantly recommend this recipe when inviting company over for dinner! It's always a winner!!!!

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
This was my first time ever making pie! For Thanksgiving I decided to make this! It turned out amazing, and was so much fun to make! Very easy to follow the recipe, and was just all around great! I layered the banana slices and the pudding... I used a little smaller pie dish, so I had some left over pudding... The family and I ate that right up! Just amazing! Thank you!!!!

EXCELLENT recipe!! I doubled the sauce, too, and just let it bake in the sauce. This sauce works wonderful with pork as well!! Definitely a 5-star!!

This recipe is amazing! My friend makes it quite often at my house and its amazing! Very lemony thought, But just perfect! We doubled the recipe but NOT the pepper. It was very very spicy the first time we made it and doubled the recipe. So this time we just didnt double the pepper.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
These were SO GOOD! My husband hates anything that tastes like Pineapple, so I made him a seperate batch with no pineapple. But I made him try one of mine, and he hate almost every one!!! They were so good. I even ended up broiling them in the oven because I got home, and realized I didnt have coals! They were still amazing!

Classic Creamy Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
I also substituted a lg bag of pre-shredded cabbage/carrot. This was super just as the recipe is given!! Then, as I can't leave anything alone, I later added a handful of cashews. I loved the added crunch, and gave it yet another interesting flavor!!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
This was AMAZING! I didnt have white wine, so I used 1 cup of water and about a teaspoon of vinager. I also used 8 peices of chicken, but cut into smaller peices. The sauce was awesome! My 4 year old is so picky, and just loved it! She ate two whole peices! It was just so good. Definately will make it again! :)

Cashew Avocado Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
This is just a perfect recipe as is! The second time I was going to make it I didn't have the same bread I used, so I boiled up bowtie pasta and basically put all the ingredients in the pasta (shredded the cheese and added a bit more ranch dressing). Made an awesome dinner to die for!!

Lasagna Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
This is soooo good! I can't keep myself from adding this and that to a recipe, so I, too, added about 1/2 onion and garlic to the chicken while it was cooking. I only had 1 pint of ricotta so I added a pint of cottage cheese to make up the difference, and spiced that mixture up with some dried parmesan cheese and a little garlic powder and a smidgen of Italian seasoning. I also sustituted broccoli for the spinach, as we're not spinach lovers. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe!

Oriental Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
This is such an awesome, unique sauce!! I've made this salad many different ways using whats in my cupboards/fridge. I've used slaw instead of lettuce (great!), used spinach greens in lieu of lettuce; and when I didn't have chow mein noodles, I've added cashews, sunflower seeds, even top romen noodles (browned) for the "crunch"! Was all good!!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
This is an AWESOME recipe! I've been making it for several years, and as of yet have never had anyone NOT like it! My biggest fans, a few years ago, were some in-mates (from our County jail)... I'm a District Court Clerk - we needed some in-mates to do some work for us, and out of appreciation I brought them some of these for lunch. I received umpteen 'thank you' letters raving about how good they were, and a couple requests for the recipe to send to their wife(s)! :-) I sometimes use sour cream in lieu of mayo for a slight taste-change, and I always sprinkle garlic powder on (with the chives) as we're huge garlic-lovers!

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
I only rate recipes when I find them very, very good (if they're not 5 star I can't blame the recipe as I tend to 'punt' w/seasoning, adding stuff, etc. so not fair to rate something I changed). I used the whole 'triangle' rather than cutting in half as I was getting short on time w/dinner prep. Plus, my 7 yr. old was helping with the 'wrapping' and was easier with a bigger dough. I doubled the recipe and ended up with 32 'helpings'. I cooked them for 18-20 min. to get the nice golden brown. The only thing I changed was seasoning a little more with plain ole seasoning salt and garlic powder (I don't know how to cook w/o garlic powder!). They were fabulous and will in the future make them for potlucks or large get-togethers. Thanks for sharing your recipe w/us!

Baked Zucchini Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
WONDERFUL! I made a HUGE batch of this for a group of adults, lots of teenagers and kids. It was cleaned out... couldn't believe would be such a hit with the non-vegetable-loving kids. My mother, at 72 yrs., said was the best zucchini recipe she's ever had. Thanks so much for sharing... FINALLY a great recipe to use up all that prolific zucchini!

Yum, yum, yum! I only leave a rating when I run into a 5 star recipe... very, very good. Didn't change a thing and was superb. Served with a tasty fried rice recipe... made enough for a crowd and 4 of us pretty much polished it off!! Thanks for this keeper!

Easy Grilled Chicken Teriyaki

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
I usually only leave a review when I find a recipe exceptional... this is one of them! My niece, a 'semi'-vegan, had some of this chicken and said it "was the best meat she ever ate". I used Teriyaki Marinade sauce instead of regular teriyaki the first time(as I always have the marinade on hand) and it was just as good or better. The marinading 24 hrs. makes it melt in your mouth, however I've been impatient and barbi'ed it after 4 hrs and was still excellent... maybe not quite as tender but the taste makes up for it. EXCELLENT RECIPE!!
