Fresh Peach Pie I

Excellent. Definitely only use 1 c. Sugar I'd your peaches are ripe. You don't want to take away from their sweetness. Delicious recipe!!!

Banana Banana Bread

It was ok...but heavy, I had to add the spices myself (as none are listed on the recipe). It didn't slice well, and the flavor was only o-k. I'll keep looking for a great recipe.

Delicious base recipe. I changed it up a bit. I used 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup milk (to make it a little more creamy and not too dry). I also added about 2 Tbsp. more butter. It was fabulous and tasty. Well enjoyed by all of our Thanksgiving guests!

Pumpkin Swirl Bread

I added a full orange's zest to the cream cheese mixture. This gave it a wonderful taste. This recipe tasted really good. I made it is a bundt cake pan. I took out 2 cups batter, poured the remaining for the 1st layer. Then I spooned and smoothed the cream cheese over that. Last, I poured the reserved 2 cups batter. I didn't swirl at all. It was rather beautiful and quite tastey. I think next time I'll ad just a bit more sugar to the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkled with powdered sugar before serving, and it was a beautiful presentation.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Delicious recipe. I didn't criss-cross them at all with the fork. Instead, I scooped the cookies in a round scoop and right after I took them out of the oven, I put a Hershey's Kiss in the center. YUM! Very yummy. The cookies are moist, and chewy. Just the way a good peanut butter cookie should be.

Cookie Salad I

I love this salad. It is definitely a dessert-type salad (much like a jello-salad would be). It's a great way to eat some fruit though! My friend has made this for me before, and then she had the great idea to bring the makin's for it camping with us. It was a nice treat for dessert one night! Easy to make and yummy to eat!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

I've been making these since 2003--and I love them. They are tender and delicious SO tasty. The sauce is a little oily since you aren't draining off the fat, but it all cooks in together and tastes scrumptious. I use these for meatball subs--delicous!

Quick and Easy Brownies

This is a very good basic brownie recipe. I followed the recipe exactly...only changing the walnuts to chocolate chips instead. The brownies were moist and delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star, is because to me, a 5-star brownie is thick, chewy, and lined with caramel.

Quick Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Very easy and yummy. I took half of the batter and added craisens to it. The other half, I added the poppy seeds. Both were lucious. For a glaze (highly reccomended)1 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 5 tsp. lemon juice. Mix together and add water if necessary to make glaze smooth.

Dark Molten Chocolate Cakes

SO SO good, and rather easy to make!! I love that I have the ingredients on hand to make something so impressive and delicious. They DID turn out as pictured too! I even refridgerated a couple over night with plastic wrap over them and then warmed them for about 30 sec. and they were still delightful!

Chocolate Trifle

This is a very fun dessert to take to a party or to impress your dinner friends. It is quite sweet though...almost too sweet, but beautiful and lucious nonetheless.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

This makes a really yummy cookie. For the holidays (neighbor & friend gifts) we dipped 1/2 the cookie in chocolate (some white and others dark). They were beautiful and made a great gift.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

So far...so good. This is the first crust I could actually pick up, rotate and roll again. Then, I folded it up and placed it nicely in my pie plate. It was amazing and I felt like the cooks on t.v. Not sure about the taste/texture...it's still in the oven! It looks beautiful though!
