About this Cook
What is there to say about myself. Well I am 28 years old and I was born and raised in Germany. Me and my husband just recently had our first son in January of 2009. I simply enjoy cooking because I love the taste of good, home made food. My grandmother took a big part in raising me and my younger brother as my parents both had to work a lot. She was a wonderful cook. This is basically the reason why I really do enjoy cooking and experimenting with food. I mostly cook with organic ingredients which in my opinion taste a lot better. I hope to be able to inspire some of you with my recipes. Just try to look at cooking as if it was a piece of art and don't be afraid of experimenting. Buon Appetit
My favorite things to cook
Simply everything and anything that tastes good. I am just not that passionate when it comes to baking and making desserts.
My cooking tragedies
I had countless cooking tragedies but I guess that happens to all of us at some point. That is part of the process of becoming a good/better cook. One of the worst accidents was when the lid of the salt popped off right as I was trying to add A LITTLE more salt before serving the dish. The dining room was full of people and the salt totally ruined my food. We all dished some money together and called the pizza deliverey place! FUN

Apple Crisp IV
This recipe is absolutely delicious and also tastes fabulous with blueberries. But I only use 1 1/4 cups of butter. That makes it crispier which I prefer. Also you have less calories as a positive side effect. YUM

Wildfire Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Oh My God ! This recipe is absoultely delicious. I have to admit that I chopped up an onion instead of the red pepper and also added two cloves of fresh minced garlic to the mix. Also I think it needs about 2 cups of BBQ sauce. One cup of sauce made it be a bit to dry for my like. But then again that's just my personal preferece as I like my foods juicy........... FABULOUS
