Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

I think this recipe would've been very good if my oats were of better quality and not so stale tasting. Also, in place of brown sugar, I used grade B maple syrup (same amount as the sugar). I also added 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ. I'm going to give it 5 stars because I know this recipe has great potential with quality ingredients.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

I skinned the entire chicken and seasoned with olive oil and spices. I also placed the chicken breast side down. When I've told people about this recipe they couldn't believe you could bake a whole chicken in a slow cooker. My family and I love this recipe and cooking technique. Great recipe and technique!!

Potato Chips

The kids love these. You really have to keep a close eye on these potatoes as they're cooking so they don't burn. Cooking time VARIES with EACH batch. But these are great to make for the kids lunch.

Curry Broccoli Salad

We love this recipe. Instead of plain sugar, I use brown sugar because it seems to have more depth in flavor. I had to use golden raisins one time and another time I used currants because both times I didn't have dried cherries and the recipe turned out great!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Made this last night. Added a little more herb and spice. Added 5 garlic cloves-sliced. The recipe didn't call for salt, so I added sea salt, which enhances and bonds all the flavors and prevents blandness. My husband and oldest daughter loved it! The 2 and 5 year old liked it, but complained that it was too spicey, but they ate it, so it must have been pretty good. We are eating left-overs for dinner tonight - I can't wait. This recipe is a keeper
