Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
I thought this was really very good. It was too much full on banana flavor the first time (I know... it's banana bread!), but the second time I made it I only had 3 bananas and substituted applesauce for the remaining needed. This made the bread have a perfect flavor for us!

This was amazing. Could not stop eating it. Even after I was full, I just kept going back and picking off little pieces because it made my mouth so happy!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
This was amazing! Like, you keep taking another bite because something so simple cant really taste that good, fantastic! I even used ground turkey, fat free refried beans, whole wheat tortillas, and reduced fat cheese and it was still great. This is definitely going to make it into our rotation. This made a FULL 9x13 pan for me, so I think the next time I try this I'm going to try to put it in two 8x8 pans and freeze one. Thanks KATHIMC for the great recipe!

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
These were fantastic!! As per other reviews, I halved the salt and found that to be just right. I also added a tsp of vanilla as my family prefers that. A total hit! This is definitely in our rotation!

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
Thought this was fantastic! This was my first time making fried rice and it's definitely on the rotation now! I was trying to make a one pot meal so I threw in some thawed frozen veggies like another reviewer suggested and was very pleased with how it turned out!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Holy cow!! This was great! We followed some of the suggestions and put a 1/2 cup of wine and the can of soup in at the beginning. So tasty and I can't wait to make a double or triple batch so that I can freeze some for later! Am also going to try this one with pork chops!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Loved it! Thought it was so easy and soooo yummy! The only problem we had was we ended up with thicker chicken breasts and they we still basically raw in the middle after 30 minutes. Nothing that can't be fixed by pounding the chicken or adding more baking time next time. Was GREAT for my company!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
Excellent soup! The best that I have found outside a restaurant in my college town (and it went out of business!). Not being excited about the chopping of potatoes, I threw the celery, ham, onions, and water in a pot and let it go for about 7 minutes. Then I threw in 3 1/2 c western style hashbrowns (still frozen). Came out fantasic and what a time saver step!! Can't wait to play with other variations!

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
FANTASTIC! I had been craving kettle corn for a long while now and thought that it would be too hard to make. I settled for the microwave version and just wasn't happy. So I came to my favorite place, all recipes, and looked up kettle corn. I read the recipe and thought "I can do *this*!" It was so easy and I ended up eating 2/3 of the batch myself! Can't wait to make this through out the fall season (whose kidding... year round)!

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Really pretty good. A bit salty with the french onion soup. MUCH better with several generous dashes of worstershire sauce. Thickened the sauce with a little bit of cornstarch.

They were good, but a pain in the butt. I just don't think I like dealing with cookie dough that sticky.

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
Love this! So fast and so good! I do add another can of peaches, drained, so we have lots of fruit and I use the kind in juice or lite syrup. I have had no trouble with "dust" on top. It's come out with a crisp topping every time!

Pretty good, but the prailine wasn't sweet enough for me! Maybe a traditional "crisp" topping?
