Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2014
I don't understand all the raving reviews. I thought this was very bland and boring. I followed the directions, and added red and green peppers. I won't be making this again.

Candied Almonds

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
Delicious! I added 1/4 tsp each of salt and cayenne, and followed the cooking directions exactly, and they turned out perfectly crunchy with a hint of spice. I will totally be making these again!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This is so easy and so delicious! If you don't have some of the ingredients, it's easy to change it up, and it's still tasty!

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
These really are the best! The first time I made them, I followed the recipe exactly, and they were awesome. The second time I made them I used half brown sugar, and they were a bit chewy, but equally as awesome!

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly, so they turned out how they were supposed to, but they were just so bland! Not much flavor, super boring, and only one mushy texture.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I made a few changes: I added one cooked, chopped onion, left out the ham, and thawed the hash browns before hand and only had to bake it for about 30 minutes. It was delicious!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
These were pretty tasty. Mine didn't turn out chewy though, and I followed the recipe exactly. They were more hard, but not overcooked. Not sure what I did wrong, but I'll definitely try them again.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly, but I thought this bread was plain, boring, and not sweet enough. Will not use again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I did this a bit differently. I cubed boneless skinless chicken breasts, and just poured all the sauce over it. I covered the dish with foil (because I used brown sugar instead of white and I figured the dish would get crusty), and baked it at 375 for about 40 minutes. I served it over brown rice and I'll definitely be making it again!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
Meh. It was good, but I don't know what all the fuss was about. It wasn't exceptionally moist, in fact, it just tasted like plain old banana bread.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
My first batch, I followed the recipe exactly, except I used wheat flour. It was just ok. Almost dry. The next batch, I used white flour and used half brown sugar and half white sugar and added a 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, and it was DELICIOUS!!

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
I like the crunchiness of these, but they really don't have much flavor. They're only a little bit spicy, so that's the only real flavor I get. I would add more spices next time.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
SOOOO good! I don't own a food processor, so I diced everything up really well, and they didn't fall apart at all! Only thing is next time I'll add a bit more chili sauce because they weren't quite as spicy as I'd hoped.

Curried Cauliflower

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
VERY good! First time, followed the recipe exactly, second time I used cream of celery soup instead of cream of chicken; it tasted a bit too chicken-y for me. Also, I used Wheatables because that was all I had and it turned out great!

Easy Curry Couscous

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
i left out the salt- it was salty enough with the chicken stock. i also left out the cilantro and almonds because i didn't have them. i added 1/c shredded coconut, cumin, a small amount of garlic powder, and a touch of cinnamon. the sweet and spicy go wonderful together!
