Easy Curried Cauliflower

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
Really good! Didn't change the spices at all, they were spot on. The only changes I made were - I cut the cauliflower into small pieces, didn't grate it. I also used "pam" and less oil (about 2 teaspoons) and no beans, since I'm dieting. With these changes its 0 points on weight watchers!!, can't beat that.

Kalbi (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
Made per recipe, but used regular onion instead of green. Marinaded overnight, then cooked in my crockpot. It was really good and I received many compliments from my guests, but next time I want to at least finish them on the BBQ grill. Served this dish with jasmine rice and green beans.

Korean Salad with Sesame Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
Made the dressing per recipe, but tossed with about 1 1/2 pounds of steamed green beans instead of lettuce. Served with Korean short ribs. Was a big hit at my party!

Korean Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
Made exactly per recipe. Good but....needed salt. I was surprised by how spicy (hot) this was. I eat a lot of Indian, hot curry, so wasn't too spicy for me, but if you don't like hot, might want to cut back on red pepper.

Corn Tortilla Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Really good. I followed the recipe, except used milk instead of cream. I topped it with salsa and sour cream in addition to the cilantro. My husband loved it. I will definitely make this again

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
Really good. I did double the spices and pound the chicken thin so it cooked quicker. The only other change I made was to delete the garlic powder that is added at the end and replaced it with two chopped cloves of fresh garlic. I'll be making this again! Thanks

Easy Masoor Daal

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
First time I've made lentils and they turned out great! I only made several small changes, 1. Mixed chicken stock with the water 2. Used a small fresh onion instead of dried onion 3. Sauteed one clove of garlic minced with the onions. Will definately make again.

Grilled Chicken Thighs Tandoori

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
I made this for company and everyone loved it. I followed the recipe, but also added a couple boneless skinless chicken breast to the mix as one of my guest only eats white meat. The marinate really kept the breast from drying out during grilling. I eat a lot of Indian food out and this recipe seems to have more cinnamon, than tandoori chicken I've had before, but was still delicious. Will definately make again.

Pan-Fried Squash

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I made this for a dinner party with a very diverse group of people and everyone liked it. I did add a little sauteed garlic and onion to the recipe. It is important to use a high quality balsmic vinegar.

Swiss Chicken

Reviewed: May 10, 2008
Very good, my husband and I both loved it. The only changes I made were to lightly season the chicken breast before placing in casserole(pepper and garlic powder) and use white wine instead of water. I've already shared this recipe with several friends and will definately make again.

Chicken Curry I

Reviewed: May 10, 2008
We eat a lot of curry and I thought this was really good and easy. This works alone over rice or as a basic recipe to which you can add any assortment of veggies. I made it with chicken thighs, removed the skin, browned and then use the pan drippings in place of the oil. I also used chicken stock instead of water. I will definitely make again!
