Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Outstanding!! This is actually the first kabob I've ever made and oh boy was it delicious! My boyfriend who is not a chicken person and I who am not a ranch person absolutely loved these! We made the marinade using peppercorn ranch dressing and about half the amount of kosher salt instead of regular and let it soak for about an hour before grilling. Also made zucchini, squash and red onion kabobs to go with it. What a perfect summer meal!

Beer Cake I

Made this for a block party. i used a Butter yellow cake mix, French Vanilla pudding and Woodchuck Amber beer (nice subtle apple taste!) Got great reviews from everyone! Made a glaze as suggested by others, with about 1/2 cup of the beer and some butter and powdered sugar and let it soak into the cake...then sprinkled w a little powdered sugar when i served it. Tasted great! Keeper!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Made this for a potluck at my office and won best dessert!! So delicious. I used about 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips and made in a 10" tube pan instead of a bundt pan. Served w/ sliced strawberries and dusted w/ powdered sugar. Will definitely make again!

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Made this for a brunch and it turned out great! I used brewed coffee in place of the water and left out the nuts cause I don't like them. Almost too moist at first, but as others have said, was much better after sitting overnight. I think I will try with 2 vanilla pudding instead of the butterscotch though next time. Great coffee cake and very easy!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I know its been said, but this recipe was awesome! Made it for my husbands birthday party and it was the first thing gone! I used little red smokies and maple bacon (just the lean, cut off the fat). Don't be stingy with the brown sugar! Definitely a good idea to use the disposable broiler pans for easy clean-up.
