Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
I loved this recipe!! I have tried to duplicate those pricey store brand coffee drinks you find in the cooler section without much luck. The sweetened condensed milk was just the trick!! Very addictive!! Greatly adaptaable to suit any taste.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I grew up on cornbread as a staple food at home. This recipe was wonderful!! It was soooo moist and very tasty. I was going to freeze some like suggested, but there was none left to freeze. I will not use another recipe for my cornbread again!! Thanks!! Everyone loved it.

Rosenmunnar

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
I LOVED this recipe! It was so simple and fast. I will be making these when I want to serve a special and beautiful treat. They are such a pretty cookie. You can be very versatile with flavors which is great. I did learn the hard way that adding too much jam does not make a better filling --it makes a mess. These are great with milk or morning coffee too. Stick to the resicpe and you will have wonderful results!!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Wow! What an easy recipe with great results. I used a chocolate fudge cake mix I had on hand. I baked for 8 minutes until they began to appear cracked on top. They were such nice looking cookies. Thanks for the fast fix for after school etc....

This was such a great tasting cornbread. It was lighter than I expected which was nice and it was very tasty. A family pleaser. I would not change a thing except maybe to double it for more, it was that good!!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
I loved this seasoning. I had all the ingredients on hand and decided to give it a try!!! It was worth the chance, my new go to seasoning for sure. It was soooo good and just could not be any easier. I did take advice from one person that suggested adding a little flour to meat when adding the seasoning (3 TBS per pound of meat)and then when it was coated nicely I added a quarter-cup water per pound of meat. I let it simmer about ten minutes. I was using ground venison but I am sure beef is wonderful too.

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Wonderful peanut butter cookie with old fashion taste. It only took ten minutes for mine to start to slightly brown on the edges. By taking them out then they remained chewy. Great recipe!!

Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I loved this recipe. I was looking for something to put in cream puffs. I will use it for lots more than that now that I have tasted it. I added quite a bit more powedred sugar than called for to get it as sweet as I wanted for the cream puffs. So easy. Thanks.

Cream Puff Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I made these cream puff shells as directed and they came out perfect. I really did not have to pull out soft dough accept for a couple. I dropped onto pan with a spoon and it made a few peaks that got a little browner than the rest of the puff. Next time I will make sure they are smooth or pipe them onto the pan. I filled with sweetend whipped cream done with powdered sugar and vanilla. Yum!

Meringue Kisses I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
I liked this easy recipe. It was fun to make the little dolops of fluff that turned into light chewy treats. You can have an afternoon snack with just minutes of work in the morning. Leave them in the oven until evening when you get home and the kids have a great treat. I did not have the chocolate chips this time. I did end up immediately making a second batch (ended up with two round pizza pans full)My hubby thought they tasted like marshmallow peeps! Fun recipe, thanks.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Good Bread! First time for making soda bread so I had nothing to compare it to. It looked like a big rough biscuit. I tried to make the x cut with a sharp knife but you really could not tell when it was done. I followed all the directions given but it did not look like the picture posted with the recipe. It's looks were definately deceiving.....it was very tasty!! A sort of dense bread with a little bit of sweet and tangy flavor. I will make this again and not wait for St. Patty's day next time.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Wow!! These were great! So easy to put together. I did put mine in a cake pan to bake. They came out very tasty but my filling ran to the bottom of the rolls. So, I just flipped the pan onto a serving platter and let it run back over the rolls. Maybe using the muffin tin helps stop this. I can't wait to make this again. It was a big hit.

I made some as just plain sugar, some with colored sugar and frosted some. It is very easy to work with unilke others I ahve tried that stayso sticky. This is Keeper for sure.

Wow! Super easy and fast to put together. I followed the recipe without changes (rolled nickel size) and cooked 8 min for the perfect shaped and sized cookies. It made a TON! I used the faux-reo filling recipe with it to fill them. My son said they taste just like oreo cakesters. Thanks!

Faux-reo Filling

This stuff was so awesome! I used it in between the Faux-Reos cookies from here. It really made a lot of filling, enough to generously fill the cookies. I love it, thanks!

White Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
I am so disappointed in this recipe. It was WAY too much butter and the sauce had a grainy bad consistancy. After deciding to store in fridge to taste again later, it was a more greasy solid mass. I hated to waste all those expensive ingredients. I will keep looking for a recipe to try.

Pumpkin Butter I

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
Great recipe. Very easy to make and tastes wonderful. I love that everything goes into one pan and then into your containers and into fridge/freezer. This is very good on bagels with a little cream cheese. Yummy! Great fast gift idea too. Thanks for submitting it!
