Pinto Beans and Brown Rice

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

This is just like what I remember my mom making when I was a kid. You just can not go wrong with this easy and delicious recipe. I doubled it for our family of six to have plenty for later (if it lasts that long). Thanks so much for sharing!! TIP #1: If you don't want that skin to form on top while cooling, place plastic wrap directly on top of the pudding after slightly cooling in pan from stove and you poured into a bowl to chill. TIP#2: Let cool on counter 10 min or so before chilling so you do not get condensation on the plastic wrap causing water on top of pudding. Remove slowly when chilled and enjoy:)

Fast French Vanilla Iced Coffee

Fast, easily adjusted to suit any taste with your favorite liquid creamer. Can make ahead leaving out the ice and have in the fridge as you want it.

Best Brownies

Nothing beats an easy recipe and you probably have everything on hand to make it with, too. Perfect! I loved the honey in the frosting. These are like the expensive gormet brownies my kids love from the coffee places. No cake like disappointment here, just rich fudgey satisfying brownies. Did not change one thing! Thanks for sharing.

Sweet Irish Bread

This was such a simple and nice tasting bread. I left out the raisins and added cinnamon in the middle of the loaf for a swirl. Baked up nice and high. However, the first loaf I made I left out the baking soda and it came out flat and dense and a tad fudgy...so I tore it up and added the stuff to turn it into bread pudding and it was awesome:) Thanks for the recipe! It is great with coffee!

Baked Pepperoni Pasta Casserole

This was great! Simple to make and everyone liked it. I added the pepperoni in with the the venison burger I was using along with some garlic and onion powder and a bit of italian seasoning. I used a different brand of sauce because it was what I had. Aslo, I mixed in some cheese before topping with more cheese. Thanks so much for sharing, deffinately a keeper!!!!

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

I really liked this recipe. It was nice and crusty and firm. It sliced so great. It was just a touch of sweetness, perfect with my savory soup. It did indeed make three loaves. I made two loaves and while they were baking I rolled the third into a rectangle. I rubbed margarin over it, covered it with brown sugar and cinnamon. I rolled it up like any other cinnamon roll. Sliced it and put into a 10x13 pan. I let them rise an hour then baked about 18 min till brown on top. They were so good. I used all purpose flour and 4 packages of active yeast.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

I loved it but the family did not. It was so easy and very moist. I was surprised by the simplicity and big flavor from such few ingredients. I had everything on hand which made it nice.

Golden Cheese Yeast Bread

I made this into the two loaves. I used metal pans and I think glass would have been better, they seem not to stick for me. I tore the loaves a bit trying to remove them. I also underbaked a bit which gave a bit of doughy cosistancy in the center. My fault there. It was very moist and stores well. I will make it again and would recommend it for practicing bakers like me:)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I have made a LOT of pumpkin bread, I just had to try this one with such a high rating. I seriously hope it gets better the next day as the submitter says. I followed the recipe to the very last detail. I was disappointed mostly because I had such high expectations. It tasted okay, just okay though. Nothing special. It really needs something else to jazz it up in my opinion. I would not review it like a lot of others if I had changed the recipe at all. Thanks for the submission but I am sticking with my old recipe. I give it 3 stars for being easy to make.

Oil Pie Crust

This was a great crust for my pumpkin pies. It was very easy to make and has a great texture. I used a tip from another about brushing the bottom with egg to keep it from being soggy and it worked so well. Yummy! I made some crusts and put them in the fridge and then did not get back to them. They leaked out the oil that came out of them. But I will just make them as I need them or try freezing them next time.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

This was so good. I was surprised at how easy it really was and the taste was fabulous. It is tasty served cold with a hot cup of coffee. I did learn the hard way not to rush it...let it cool completely before filling. I tried the waxed papaer on the towel like suggested and it seemed to cause a bit of moisture from the heat against the towel. Next time I will only ise the dusted towel. Great recipe, thanks.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Fantastic!! I can't believe I have been afraid to make toffee. This is such an easy recipe and it came out perfect the first time. It tastes like a Skor Candybar. Definately a holiday go to recipe. Thanks:)

Homemade Crescent Rolls

The taste of these rolls was fantastic and sweet. It was not quite a crescent texture, more like a roll, but I will definately make them again. Yummy! It makes a nice big amount for a large family. The leftovers stayed moist and tender.

Sweet Marie Bars

These are awesome! I always double the recipe and use a 9x13 pan. They disappear in a flash. My kids and their friends love them. I store them in the fridge for a firmer texture. Great easy recipe for a snack in a hurry that pleases most anyone.

Ricotta Gnocchi

I too used a larger container of Ricotta...oops! Should have read the label. I just added a little more flour and kept everything else the same. I love garlic. How easy this was. My first time making Gnocchi and it was so awesome. I have never made a recipe from scratch that was so easy and fast for a MEAL. The sauce was wonderful as well. I hope everone tries this recipe. It is super, thanks for submitting it:) Next time I will double and try freezing some.
