World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
Wow! Really good! I made this for my family, who were coming to visit on Saturday. The only problem was that I was doing volunteer work at 6 am that day and they were coming for lunch! So I made and assembled it Friday night and just baked it Saturday. I think it helped the flavors mix, because it was great! None left! I also used the no-bake noodles and it turned out fine. This was a little time consuming, but I had so much fun making it! It was worth the effort! I have no desire to buy it frozen again, and I don't think my family does either!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
This was my first time every making or tasting bread pudding. It was very yummy, and made my condo smell great! After the 45 minutes, I took it out and sprinkled some extra cinnamon/sugar mixture on top and baked for another 10 minutes or so. I think next time I will use an extra slice or two of bread. Overall, great recipe!

Baby Blue Punch

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I gave this to my future mother-in-law to make for my future sister-in-law last weekend for her baby shower. (my wedding is way in the future!) It was a big hit! I think there was only a cup or two left. The mom-to-be really liked it, too, because she loves rubber duckies! Great flavor and very pretty color for presentation!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
These were really good! I like anything crunchy so I let them stay in the oven a little bit longer to get good and brown on top. I also added a handful of macadamia nuts, raisins, and a teaspoon or so of cinnamon.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
WOW! I love raisins and Christmas so this was a double joy for me to do in the middle of July! I didn't have all the ingredients so I just had to make do with what I had and they turned out amazing. I can't wait to try them again with the stated ingredients!

Strawberry Whipped Sensation

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
have made this twice in the past month and have had no left overs either time! i had to use a few more than 8 cookies. also, if you use a store bought whipped topping, add about a tsp or so of vanilla flavoring to it to give it that homemade taste. on one, i put a layer of sliced strawberries before putting the oreos on for an extra suprise. really good! make sure you do it early so it has enough time to freeze and set.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
i made this last night with boneless skinless chicken breasts. the 1/2 cup soy sauce was a little too salty for me, so i used only about a 1/4. per other reviews, i baked in the oven on 350 for about 40 minutes and it was good. made again tonight for others, and was great! here's what i did : used the left over sauce from last night to marinade the breasts (butterflied) for about an hour. put the rest in a sauce pan, added more ingredients, and let it simmer and thicken up. i continued to baste the chicken throughout the baking. i was making side dishes that cooked on 450 and wanted to do it all together. so i baked the chicken on 400 for about an hour, then turned it down to 350 for about 20 minutes. it was tender and moist throughout. a definite do again!

Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
YUM! i made these last night for friends and read the recipe wrong and put garlic salt in the batter, along with it in the butter spread. they were good, but a bit salty. i made them again tonight for others, reading the recipe right, and they were amazing! instead of brushing the butter/garlic mixture on top, i dipped the biscuits in it. (to me, it was easier.) then, i put them back in the oven for about a minute so they got a little crunchier on top.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2008
These cookies were amazing! I had to use what I had though, as my friends found my peanut butter cups in the freezer! So I used Nestle's peanut butter and chocolate chip morsels instead and they turned out great! I made 6 jumbo/chunky cookies and 12 regular cookies. I can't wait to try it with the candy cups! Thanks for sharing-
