Real New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Amazing!! I made this for my boyfriend and his friends last night. I don't eat shrimp, but was tempted to try it after seeing their reactions! My bf said it was sooo good and that the flavor was like nothing he's tasted before. Really simple to make.. scaled recipe down only using 1 lb shrimp... did increase the creole seasoning for more flavor. Thanks for a great post ;o)

Chili Dog Casserole II

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
This was pretty good. We love chili dogs so I am excited about now having a new way to make them! I too diced an onion and put that in the tortilla along with some shredded cheese. Turned out nicely. Will try with homemade chili next time. Thanks for the post.

Ham and Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
Wow.... This stuff is amazing. I brought it into work for a carry-in and EVERYONE was impressed! My bf is a butcher so he brought home some fresh cubed ham (yummy).. I used two jars of Randall's Great Northern Beans, sauteed the onions and ham together in butter, put all ingredients into crock pot and let cook all day long. I did cut back the brown sugar to just a couple of pinches. Best ham and beans I've ever had! Thanks for the post!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
OMG!!! Where do I start? I've always wanted to make chicken 'n dumplings, but never have thinking it would be too difficult. What was I thinking? I love how they tasted in the slow cooker. They were by far some of the best I've had. I too used chicken broth instead of wated and they turned out so rich and wonderful. Thanks for such a simple and wonderful recipe!!

Carla's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This stuff is amazing!!! I found myself eating it straight from the bowl w/ a spoon and ditching the fruit! Only used 3/4 container of Cool Whip as I didn't want to overpower the other ingredients. Thanks for a wonderful tasting fruit dip.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
I love this recipe! My boyfriend, who could live off chicken wings, said they were the best he'd had all year. Even told me they tasted better than Hooters! I agree that the secret is to refrigerate the seasoned wings for at least 1 hour before frying. Thanks so much for my new favorite recipe ;o)
