Holy Smoked Bacon and Mushroom Penne

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
I thoroughly enjoyed this dish, as did my husband and step daughter. I made a few minor adjustments. I added chopped onion and instead of 3 cups of chicken stock, I put 2 cups of beef stock and 1 cup of water. People were complaining of a lack of seasoning, so I added garlic and onion powders. Also, instead of Parmesan cheese, I put Mozzarella cheese. Turned out great, can't wait to make it again.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
These biscuits are yummy!! The only thing i would change is the butter spread is a little salty for my taste. My husband loved them all the same though. Thanks for the recipe!

Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
Honestly, I really wouldnt say there was anything special about the taste of this recipe. Tastes like a sugar cookie, but what I did love about this recipe is that they are one of the most perfect cookies for rolling out and cutting. After the initial mixing of ingredients, i put the dough into the fridge for an hour or so and it basically rolled out perfectly! Not too sticky or too dry.

Lemon Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
Best recipe by far. I altered it just a tad, but it was only to make it more lemony. I put the zest of the whole lemon instead of just a tablespoon, put the juice of half a lemon instead of the 2 tablespoon of lemon juice and put about 3 or 4 tablespoons of lemon juice in the glaze. So lemony, so yummy!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
This is the easiest recipe ever! Tastes great and did not take as long to cook it as recipe states. Instead of measuring bananas, I just put 3 soft bananas in it. Also taking advice of some the other people, I put 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla. Came out great!

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
Lemon bars came out great. My only problem was that the sides and top became kind of crunchy...but my mom loved the crunchy part anyways. I added lemon zest and about a teaspoon of pure lemon extract to the bottom crust. Came out great!
