About this Cook
40 yr old-ish married woman living with hubby and sweet havanese puppy. Works at a credit union. Loves gems and jewelry.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make brownies for my hubby. I swirl peanut butter in the batter before baking and they are soooo good.
My cooking triumphs
I followed a recipe for Baked Beans from this site and they are sooo good. I have made them many times and am "known" for them in my family. They have layers and layers of flavors (my niece teases me about this wording).
My cooking tragedies
We exchange names for birthdays at work. Well one yr I made a birthday cake for my "person" and it was horribly overcooked. No one even tried it. I owe her a cake, lol

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream
A coworker of mine had this for lunch one day and I asked her about it. She gave me the recipe and I decided to try it. At first I thought it might be a bit too spicy but the more I ate it, the more I liked it. I made it a second time and kept the 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes. My hubby loves this and it is very easy to make.

Easy Grape Salad
I made this for a work luncheon and got rave reviews on it. The only thing I didn't do that I would do differently the next time is to use a mixer to blend the cream cheese and the marshmallow. I ended up using the ice cream marshmallow topping because I couldn't find the marshmallow creme at my store.
